I'm currently on white Xanax bars..one says GG 2 4 9 down the bar and the other which may be generic says 1 1...meaning one half is 1 mg..the other half is 1 mg will equals 2 mg... So these are definitely 2 mg right??? They help with my anxiety and panic disorders tremendously... I was asking because one friend of mine said they were 5mg..then the other friend said 10 mg...it didn't make sense... Please help answer my question thank u... ## Hello, Mandy! How are you? When I take green stone it makes my right eye hurts and bursts my blood vessels so does sandoz 1mg alprazolam and the 2mg. I to my eye doctor my eye pressure is up. Started taking Mylan 1mg and 2mg alprazolam they worked until recently. They changed their ingredients pills r harder. Has sodium docusate in it...makes me more anxious stomach hurts. Trying Actavis alprazolam eyes hurts. They took me off valium years ago which worked better for me. And I didn't need to take daily. I take these Sandoz 2mg alprazolam, marked 'GG 249' when in desperate need - the quality is pretty dire. A 2mg tablet feels more like a 1mg to me (I normally use Xanax brand or Gador's excellent ALPLAX from Argentina); however I recently came upon an image of a Sandoz USA 2mg bar whose imprint was HORIZONTALLY aligned, and not VERTICAL, as every tablet of that brand I have ever had carries. Are these counterfeits, or simply a very old version of real Sandoz from a time before I had ever had the US tablets? That would be before 2000. I have asked a couple of friends who also sometimes get prescriptions in the US, and none of them have ever seen or heard of the imprint being embossed across the bar rather than downwards either. Def my fav of the sticks, except the yellow ones. I've been taking this medication for over 14 years and yet to EVER have a Name BRAND STICK, so I cant compare any generic to it, but I've had name brand .25 .5 and 1mg. To be honest I like the sandoz generics better than the name brand ones. Dava 2mgs are a good generic as well. So I think a name brand stick wouldn't be that effective either compared to a dava or sandoz. Right? ## I always get the 2 mg bars with Xanax right on the back. Or the Circle ones from Walmart. Qualitest are just as good as Sandoz and Mylan doesn't come close....That being said, Greenstone are better but my second choice is definitely the 2089V's.... ## It seems like most people here on the site are preferring similar brands to what you mentioned. It must have something to do with the percentage of the active ingredient used and/or presence of certain binders and fillers. I was prescribe alprazolam 1mg, by my doctor. I always been taking 0.5 mg peach pill made by Sandoz, always feel good on them. I moved and doctor was over hour away, he advise me to split the pill in half to make it 0.5 mg, this way I will have supply for longer period of time. Also I change pharmacy, when I fill my prescription, I recived blue pills made by Dava, I was splitting them up to 2016, I feel good on them to some time, and after few months they start to have wierd effect on me, I was more deppresed, start having some difficulty breathing, anxiety, panick attacks, I stop sleeping at night, they did help little but not much any more, and now I run from them, and have to find new doctor in town. I have been getting the 2mg Greenstones the last few years and they work much better than the Actavis. Now i read that greenstones were changed back in early 2014. Is it people that take these to feel high or people who really need them for anxiety and nothing else? Regardless if they have been changed they're still much better Actavis and I have heard mixed results on Sandoz. Dava seems to be crap. Took it once (looks to be from Endo who bought out Qualitest). I'm going to get my script soon, ive been taking the Actavis brand (Walgreens) and I asked if my next refill it could be the Greenstone g3722. My dosage I'd 2mg. However there have been several reports about fake one's going around from those who choose to obtain their medication by non-licensed overseas distributors; at which point any pill is subject to being counterfeit, no matter what it might look like. I don't know about the "coating" details specifically, but I would recommend running a search on some images to get a better visual perspective so you can compare your tablet that way as well.
