Sandoz Fentanyl Patch

They'd have access to the most current information on any availability problems, since they are alerted immediately by the FDA and the information we have is generally delayed, since this site does not manufacture, nor dispense any medications. I'm in Massachusetts and just lost my Blue Cross that was covering the Duragesic Jansen 100 and 25 mg patches. Now I'm on Massachusetts Health and they won't cover the brand name, which compared to the generic is a big difference in the amount of Fentanyl. For example the 100 has 16.8mg of Fentanyl per patch vs the generic only has 10.55 by mylan. The 25 only has 2.4 I believe and the brand name is 4.2. That's a big difference to me when these name brand are barely making my pain tolerable. I've been on the generic before and they are definitely not even close to the brand name. My question is, I found the generic brand Sandoz that has equivalent amount of medicine in each patch but I cant find pharmacies that carry it or that will order it for me. Like I said I'...

These patches are lousy imo. Does anyone know which pharmacy regularly stocks other brands, not Apotex? I am on the 25 mcg patch. I live in Maine around only chain pharmacies. No private pharmacies around. I prefer Sandoz or Mylan as I have had both. Never the other brands but willing to try any other generic. Thanks for reading. ## Anyone can answer. I am new to the patch i have been on the 25 mcg for a month and two weeks now the first brqnd i used was mallickrodt and i thought they didnt work so i told my doc and she suggested trying a different pharmacy, so i did and they gave me par and sandoz. Especially since products come and go off the shelf all-day and most pharmacies only order what they can get at the cheapest price from manufacturers as it is. I would just try to go around to few local pharmacies in your immediate area to see what they're able to do for you. I have been having problems since they took me off of the duragesics made by jennsen, I am looking for a similar brand that helps my pain and does not fall off, I liked the sandoz but there is some back up on those i do not like the matrix because I get no relief, gell patches fall off ## Why did they take you off of it? Do you mean your pharmacy just switched which one they're providing? If that's the case, you can ask if they can order that one back in for you. You just may have to pay any price difference between it and their current one, because your insurance usually won't. ded 23 2012, my pharmacy told me they were unable to get all my fentanyl patches, i take 100mcg, 25mcg and 12 mcg. they were only able to get the 25s. ive looked all over the net to see if anyone else is talking about it, only saw one mention. but dont know if this is a permansnt thing or what. anybody else knoww what else is going on? i have sever chemical sensitivty and so this is the only i can tolerate. i was using the Mylan brand, for about 9 mo. then I noticed that i was getting really shaky, super fast heart rate from some of them, but not all. one box of the 100 would be ok, but then then next box, in the same batch and lot number, I couldnt tolerate. i ve sever neuroapthy, and cryoglobulinemia, so cant do with out. Have taken my Prescriptions to Walgreens called walmart and Cvs and not only do they not carry the dose they wont fill them.i just moved to Dallas TX from Aurora Co.Where can i get them filled? ## I am having e same problem I contacted sandoz and they said they had been recalled. I have been on Fentanyl patches 100mcg for several years now. Unfortunately it wouldn't always cover my pain and I would have to get another prescription from another doctor as a bridge to the original prescription. Due to the regulations in New York I was found out and now both doctors are threatening to cut me off. I need a pain management specialist who will understand this and will start SLOWLY taking me off of the patches, at least the current dose. I am in Westchester, County New York. Any advice? I can't find a pharmacist around here that has the sandbox 75 mg patch can you help me

I have an odd scenario. I have been taking fentanyl lollipops and passing all drug screens with no problems. When I run out I have been using fentanyl patches, same no problems. Well this past week I got a different brand of patch (sandoz) (this is the only difference in months of using fentanyl) and I failed my two screens (swabs). I tested positive for oxycodone. I don't get how or why. So they sent it back to do the more thorough test and sure enough it says I have oxycodone in my system. This week I got my pops back, took a urine instead of swab- and I passed. I wish I could figure out what the hell happened. But that was the only difference.
