Hey I'm in San Francisco and really need to find out if anywhere is carrying 40mg oxycodone ER. I have a legit script but can't find and am having to spend a lot of money getting meds other places... Help! ## How are you checking with the pharmacies to see if they carry it? If you are just calling them, then you will likely not get an accurate answer. Due to the high risk of theft, if you just call a pharmacy, they will usually just say that they do not carry any controlled substances. They do this because they have no way of knowing if the person on the phone is a legitimate customer in need, or a potential thief. To get an accurate answer on whether or not they can fill your prescription, you have to physically go into the pharmacy, with your prescription in hand. ## GoodRx ha...

I am trying to find a doctor in san francisco, ca that isnt going to be a huge hassle in prescribing oxycontin....anyone know a good doctor? I have full insurance ## I am not familiar with doctors in California, but if you have a legitimate reason to have it, you may just want to look into pain management clinics. They are generally more open to prescribing such medications, than regular doctors. Most doctors have to worry, because they government closely supervises their prescribing practices and they are held responsible if found to prescribe certain drugs for invalid reasons. Oxycodone is a very potent narcotic analgesic. Common side effects can include: nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and dry mouth. Read more here: Does anyone else know any doctors in that area? ## I think online is a...

I recently relocated to San Francisco from Chicago and am seeking a doctor who will prescribe the same medications as my previous doctor. I need a doctor who will prescribe Hydrocodone, Xanax and Adderall which I have been taking for a few years. ## You will need a copy of your medical records from your previous drs before another dr will treat you for these conditions. Although there are no guarantees that another dr will treat you with the same medications thar your previous did. With you being a new patient, you won't find a dr that will prescribe you these meds until they have seen you for at least several months, if then. You will need to see a psychiatrist for the Xanax and Adderall. Depending on how much of the hydrocodone that you're taking, you may need a Pain Managemen...

I've had severe RLS for 40 years and over the years have tried everything. Sinemet worked well for years, then augmentation and rebound set in. Requip didn't help. Have tried at varying times: darvocet, fentanyl, valium, klonopin. Finally found relief about 7 years ago with Methadone 10 mg twice daily and am able to rest at night and function well at work. I am moving to San Francisco in a week and will need a doctor to prescribe. Does anyone know a doctor who understands RLS or a pain doctor that will Rx opioid longterm? Thank you.

I am having a really hard time finding a doctor that will give me a script for xanax. I use to be able to get them from my old physician, but not anymore. This makes my life a living hell. So I figured that since I actually have a legitimate reason to be prescribed xanax that I could go see my doctor and just be honest with her and I'd get my xanax legally instead of having to go on a scavanger hunt to find real alprazolam. But I was wrong. She treated me like s*** and pretty much made me feel like I was a joke, or some addict trying to get a fix. ( which I am not ) All of this just made my life worse. I feel so discouraged and hopeless. It is not fair that all these doctors seem to be nowadays is these people, these self ritgeous smug people who get to determine whether or not I ge...

I have a severe back injury that cannot be operated on because of my heart condition. I am taking fairly large doses of Dilaudid, but my VA doctors will not increase my dose, even though they agree my condition is worsening.. I need a civilian doctor in Sacramento or San Francisco area who is not afraid to help me with increased doses. ## Unfortunately, no one can really know ahead of time what a doctor is or is not willing to prescribe, as that is based on the doctor's discretion and not just on someone else's previous appointment (especially since many doctor's are now worried about losing their licensing for prescribing too many narcotics). Some advice I can give you is to not specifically ask for any 'specific medication' when you see a new doctor. Just make sure...

Does any one know where in SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA I can get my prescription for oxycontin 80mg filled? Unfortunantly every walgreens or safeway pharmacy that I have been to no longer carry the gereric brand (OC) only the new brand(OP) which is horrible. Please help me find somewhere that possibly have back stock of the OC generic version. ## The Oxycontin with the OC marking was not a generic, that was the name brand manufactured by Purdue Pharma and the reason you are having trouble finding it is because they have stopped manufacturing it and have replaced it with the new formulation that has the OP marking. Pharmacies were able to sell the original, until their stock ran out, then they had to switch to the new formulation. Many people are having problems with the new formulation, t...

Is there any doctor in San Francisco that accepts medical or medicare for soboxine and if so who is he and where is he at in San francisco ## Hello, Virginia! How are you? You can use the search engine on the website, Suboxone.com to search for doctors in your area that treat with it. Their contact information will be provided, so you can call them to see if they accept your insurance. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?

Is there anywhere in the San Francisco Bay Area (200 mile radius) where I could get Yellow Norco 10/325, produced by Watson? I was told by Watson customer service that the yellow are no longer made, and that there is absolutely no difference. After reading comments on different medical web sites, it seems that many are having a miserable time of it, and several mentioned Walgreen's as having the yellow tablets. If this is not possible, what other drug might have the same properties? My doctor is OK with trying something new, but he's Kaiser - with 1,350 patients. He just does not have the time to research what may or may not work for me! ## Hello, Ann! How are you? That is correct, the yellow ones are no longer being manufactured, any pharmacy that still has them is just selling...

I left my medicine At home in San Francisco. help. I'm at mandalay Bay today. Please help. ## I'm sorry, but there is no such thing as a Roxicodone doctor. Any doctor that can prescribe medications can technically prescribe it. However, you can't just walk in to a new doctor's office or clinic, say you forgot yours at home and have them write you a new prescription. This is a controlled substance and prescribing practices for it are very closely monitored by the government, so it just doesn't work like that. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. How long are you going to be away from home? An ER may be able to help you, if they can confir...

I'm looking for a Dr who prescribes qsymia in the San Francisco Bay area ## I recommend going to the Qsymia web site. If you enter your zip code, it will list doctors in area who will work with you. It will also give 'certified' pharmacies -- only certified pharmacies can give the free 14 day supply and $75 discount. You can also use their certified mail order network.

Hello Everyone. I moved to Trenton, NJ from San Francisco. My doctor there helped me with Methadone and morphine. I am looking for a doctor in New Jersey, or close by, maybe new york or phily who prescribes methadone for pain. I have taken methadone in SF for over a year, and I have bottles and I am sure my doctor there can send my new doctor my medical records, but I am not sure whom to contact. Most doctors here say they do not prescribe medication for pain. I am probably calling the wrong doctors. However, in many parts of the country it is much easier to get methadone than morphine or oxycontin for pain, and I think this is helpful to me because methadone is not addictive for me. can anyone help me with the name of a doctor? I would be so grateful. I am so worried about this that I ...

AIDSVAX HIV Vaccine

AIDSVAX is an experimental HIV vaccine that was developed originally at Genentech in San Francisco, California, and later tested by the VaxGen company, a Genentech offshoot.[1] The development and trials of the vaccine received significant coverage in the international media, but American trials proved inconclusive. The vaccine was then tested on a group of at-risk individuals in Thailand. In 1991, AIDSVAX originally consisted of the B envelope of recombinant gp120, a glycopro...

cream ## , I was told Eterna 27 was the bSam cream available. This was in Modeling School in San Francisco, back in the 70's. At the time I had oily skin, and didn't use it. Now I use Tazorac, a strond retinoid prescription cream, which leaves my skin dry and peeling at times. I bought some E-27, because it's no longer going to be discontinued, and I love the way my skin drinks up the moisture. What exactly is so good about this cream? Is it the active ingredient, Progenten? If so, what is in it...???

What drug companies make oxycodone er and what pharmacies in San Francisco,CA.? ## What drug companies produce oxycodone er; besides Purdue of course? Thanks so very much - Memphis1-13-2011 ## I am sorry, but the controlled release formulation of Oxycodone, which is sold under the trade name Oxycontin is only manufactured by Purdue Pharma, there are no longer any generics available on the market. Even the ones provided by the Ethex Corporation are manufactured by Purdue and carry the same marking, they are just an authorized distributor. As to what pharmacies carry it, in any given area, since I am not in those areas, I don't know. However, calling them will usually not get you the correct answer, because they have no way of knowing if the person on the phone is a legitimate custome...

Would this be ok to take? 1 year later would be 2/14 ## Hi Debbie, There's actually an article in the LA Times Newspaper (which you can also find online) stating that researchers from the California Poison Control System, UC San Francisco and UC Irvine did a study investigating a variety of old drugs (Hydrocodone being one of them); and concluded that many of them are still ok to take even up to 28-40 years after the listed expiration date! That said, I don't think you have anything to worry about with your medication only being 1 year past the expiration. As long as it was stored properly and not left out in high temperatures, most of the potency should still be intact. I hope this helps!
