The pro would be cutting down on your sodium intake. Most of us take in far too much each day and, for those that are sodium sensitive, it creates the risk of hypertension, congestive heart failure, heart attack and stroke. The con would be the risk of taking in too much potassium, getting too much of it can be just as dangerous as not getting enough. Are there any other questions I can help with?

My foster son has ADHA he just began taking D-amphetamine salt combo 5mg. it is blue, round, x on one side of tab and cor 130 on the other side. how long till i start seeing it work for him and what are side effects and signs that its not working. ## It should start to have some effect immediately, since it is an Amphetamine combination, but it will take about 4 to 6 weeks for it to reach its full effect in his body. If it isn't working for him, then you won't see an improvement in his behavior or attention span, when that 4 to 6 weeks has been reached.
