Saliva Test Xanax

I took a xanax 20 minutes before an interview. They administered a saliva drug test while I was there. It came back positive for marijuana. The big problem with that is I have not smoked the stuff since I was 19 and will be 35 in just a few months. Can the xanax cause a false positive for marijuana??? ## Who takes Xanax before an Interview? You probably looked very relaxed, perhaps impaired, and they thought you were under the influence? Xanax would not show up as Pot? ## why would anyone use cocain..i dont get it

If I took Percocets and Xanax on Friday till Sunday around 4 but I'm not a frequent user, will it show up in a mouth swab drug test on Monday around 4pm? ## Do you have a prescription for these medications. Are you asking do they check for Opiates and Benzodiazepines in a drug test? I would think they just are checking to make sure you are healthy, nothing to worry about

I took a xanax on saturday morning and had a saliva screening on monday morning. Will xanax show up on the results? I'm 5'8, about 127 lbs. I'm not active and drink on average 5-6 glasses of water daily. What are the chances of will show up? ## YO, I won't say it's 100% certain but chances are very probable that you will. Benzodiazepine's take more then 48 hours to clear especially when utilizing a saliva/swab protocol. Just want to be real with yah. Peace....

will 0.125 mgs of xanax (small orange 0.5 pill) show in saliva drug test in 3 days. only took 1/2 of a 1/2 of a 0.5 orange pill to get to sleep. If it comes back positive for something you are not taking it could be a false positive. I had to take a saliva test the other day and am taking oxicodone xanax Nexium benicar valcor cymbalta and atorvastatin synthroid humalog lantus and a Bayer asprine. When I went back I fentanyl showed up as well 1 ng. So they cut me off right there from the top 3 medications and I wasn't even sure what fentanyl was. I take xanax and vicodin which are prescribed to me,but I have been taking them for almost 17 years so my tolerance is pretty high. I sometimes run out and take my husbands because he usually only takes one or two a week. I have been taking urine and now recently a saliva stick that will not only be repeated randomly but also sent to a lab to determine my weekly & monthly levels. Hi I am prescribed many medications. I take 1 mg Xanax 3 x a day. I had 2 saliva drug tests which didn't show Xanax. Also I smoked marijuana the day before and it didn't show up either. I also get chronic dry mouth from Wellbutrin, I smoke....etc Vicodin and soma showed up. Adderall showed up. Could any medications or lack of saliva affect the outcome of the test? I don't understand why the tests aren't showing my meds??

I ran out of one of my meds, so a week ago I took addarall and methodone, I have to go for a blood test next week, they didn't find either one in my urine test they did today. I took both of them for a week. Is it going to show up in a blood test? ## Blood tests detect adderal for 1-4 days. Methadone is detectable in blood until around 7-10 days.
