Erythromycin 250mg
Hiya im going to be taking erythromycin 250mg and it says on the packet to take 1 tablet 4 times a day spaced between 6 hours. I was told to take 2 in morning and 2 at night so im wondering if 2 250mg tablets to make up 500mg is ok to do or should I space the doses out? ## Hello, Jessica! How are you? The normal dosing is every 6 hours, so they'd be evenly spaced and taken 4 times a day. However, if your doctor instructed you to do otherwise, then you should follow their instructions. This is an antibiotic, so it may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea. Learn more Erythromycin details here. Is there anything else I can help with? ...

naproxen expiration
I am wondering about an old prescription I have. The only date on the bottle is 3/2/2012. Is it safe to take? ## Hello, Smith1985! How are you? Prescription tablets have an expiration date of one year from the date they were dispensed to you by your pharmacy, because that is when they are removed from the factory sealed container and are exposed to the elements that cause degradation. After the expiration date, this medication does not get dangerous, but it does begin to lose effectiveness and will no longer work as well as when it was new. It would be best to dispose of it and see your doctor for a new prescription. Is there anything else I can help with? ...

Lady Contraceptive pills
Can I Ask, Is It Safe If Take A Lady Contraceptive Pills 2 Days After My Menstruation And We Make Love With Boyfriend Then ? is there no possibility that i would get pregnant? Thanks For The Answer :) ## No, if you start these tablets after you menstrual cycle has ended and then have sex, there is still a chance that you could get pregnant. For immediate effectiveness of birth control pills, you need to start them, while you are on your period. If you do so, it will prevent ovulation and protect you against pregnancy. However, if you start them at any other time of your cycle, then you need to be on them for at least a full week (7 days), before you will be protected from pregnancy. Birth control tablets are not something that you can just take on the day you have sex and be protected f... ...

Apo Naproxen 375 mg
I got the prescription in Jul 2009. There is no expiry date on the bottle. Is it still safe to take it after 4 years? ## Hi, Milica! Once the factory seal on a bottle of tablets has been broken, the expiration date is one year from the date you received it from your pharmacy. Naproxen doesn't get dangerous after it has expired, but it will start to lose potency, which means that after 4 years, they are virtually worthless and should just be disposed of properly. Round white pill with score on one side and thats it simeine said it was a percaset 15 ? ## Hello, Shari! How are you? There are no Percocet 15 tablets, the contain Oxycodone and Acetaminophen and there are none available that contain 15mgs of either one. If there are no markings, it is most likely just some type of over the counter product, since all prescription tablets must have markings to enable their identification according to U.S. law. Hydrocodone error?
Just started using hydrocodone apap tab5mg-325. This first dose I took is 2 pills at 12 noon. The bottle instructions say you can take 1 to 2 tablets every 4 to 6 hours. It is now 3:15 pm and it feels like the hydro pills, made by Amneal are just about finished. The pills I have been taking prior to this are oxycodone, Mallinckrodt, acetaminophen 5-325 and I take 1 pill every 6 hours. This is OXY condone, NOT HYDRO codone made by Amneal. Are they different strengths? The HYDRO seems weaker. Whats the difference between the two? And should they be interchangeable? ## It does require 7.5mgs of the Hydrocodone to be equal to the 5mg Oxycodone you were taking, because the Oxycodone is stronger. However, it may simply be that the Hydrocodone just doesn't work for you. Learn more Vicodin ... ...

Respidol overdose
2 weeks ago my daughter took an over dose of 40 Risperdol tablets She pulled through but is off balance, from time to time very bad memory most of the time she cannot remember what she is doing or want to say or do, blured visioen even with her contact lenses or glasses and very tired. Is this long term effects or will it improve over time. ## What has her doctor said about it? Risperdal is very potent, so taking that many tablets means she had to have taken a very large amount, thus it is possible that some of the damage may be permanent. Some may improve with time, but there is really no way for anyone on here to say, since this site is not familiar with her medical history and prognosis. ...
