Individual B vitamin supplements are referred to by the specific number or name of each vitamin, su...

I have some of this sMitrogen from my parents in Mexico. I have a very terrible cough and has persisted for a week now. I also am very tired and achey. Would this help? ## Hello, Joe! How are you? Mox 500 mg twice daily for how many days to be given. For Asthma patient Mox 500mg or Mox Clav 375 which one is most advicable ## Neither! Amoxicillin, in either formulation, is an antibiotic and it is only effective at treating infections. Asthma is caused by inflamed airways due to allergies and other adverse stimuli, so an antibiotic is not going to help with it. lower cholesterol ## Niacin is a water-soluble vitamin necessary for many aspects of health, growth, and reproduction. It is part of the vitamin B complex. Niacin assists in the functioning of the digestive system, skin, and nerves. It is also important for the conversion of food to energy. Niacin (also known as vitamin B-3) is found in dairy products, poultry, fish, lean meats, nuts, and eggs. Legumes and enriched breads and cereals also supply some niacin. A deficiency of niacin causes pellagra. The symptoms include inflamed skin, digestive problems, and mental impairment. Large doses of niacin can cause liver damage, peptic ulcers, and skin rashes. Is a Niacin SA Tab the same thing as a Niaspan ER Tab? ## Yes, it is just the generic for it, since Niacin is the active ingredient in Niaspan. It is a nutritional supplement, with several medical uses, including increasing levels of HDL cholesterol and reducing the risk of cardiovascular events in people at risk. It may, however, cause some side effects, such as nausea and facial flushing. Learn more: Are there any other questions?

I found this pill it has a R 500 on the side scored on the same side and blank on the other. Its round and white i can't find anything at all for it... I think its acetaminophen mixed with something else but i can't find out... please let me know ## Hi, Gail! Where did you find it? From what I've seen of these tablets, I believe the imprint you're looking at is supposed to be A 500 and it just contains 500mgs of Acetaminophen, it's a generic or store brand of extra strength Tylenol. Side effects may include nausea, dizziness and headache. Due to the dangers of overdose toxicity, please do not exceed the daily recommended use amounts. Learn more Acetaminophen details here.

I have been on it for 2 months and the side effects have been awful. I couldn't stand it any more. I stopped taking it last Wednesday. It's been 5 days. I now have swollen ankles. Is this something to worry about? What is the risk of stopping and how long does it take to get it out of your system? ## Hello, Lindyann! How are you? Yes, you shouldn't have stopped it abruptly, because that can cause a rebound effect, such as what you're experiencing with the edema. You may also have dangerously elevated blood pressure. Please consult your doctor as soon as possible to have things checked out for your own safety. You may require medical treatment and will need to try a different blood pressure medication.
