I'm back to the old me and all of a sudden the doctor let 10-15 people go cause he wanted new patients. i passed all drug panels, did everything right and I called doc. Told him I was withdrawing and was gonna relapse. He turned me down and hung up on my face. I was in one of the other forums and saw someone post about an Rx film cutting guide? I guess it's suppose to help you cut your Suboxone films into to small doses for tapering. Well its $5 to download and I wanted to get some feedback before I decided if I wanted to download it. Has anyone used this before and if so, how did it work? ## I don't have any personal experience with this, but I do know tapering is the way to go if you want to avoid most withdrawal symptoms. I'm new to suboxone. I was taking about 140mg of hydrocodone for a very long time. Dr prescribed suboxone film 8/2mg twice a day. Has anyone cut the film into smaller doses? For example dose yourself every 4 or 6 hours with a cut piece of film. I have an odd job where I work 12 hour days, i'm concerned of feeling "loopy" at work. Hi, I was informed just two days ago from my pharmacist that there is now a generic form of Suboxone film available and that's what Medicaid receiptents will receive opposed to the Brand-name Suboxone film. Ironically, my pharmacy was completely out of the generic therefore, I was able to have my insurance still approve the name brand although, I'm sure that'll change soon. Hi everyone! I was wondering if anyone has ever had a problem with suboxone films sticking 2 your teeth ? Sometimes, when I put the film under my tongue, it won't go in right and sticks 2 my teeth. I took about 1/4 of a suboxone 8mg film at about 8:30 this morning. Of I take a 30mg roxy at 10:30 tonight, will I feel it or will it be a waisted. ## Yes, it will. I've been getting sick( ie starting to experience various symptoms) most days every day for some time. I have a doctor that has me on a diet pill, fluid pill, birth control, liothyronin, and Suboxone about 2 yrs ago. I dose once a day. Before I go forward, I eliminated one potential problem now. Through diet and exercise I have lost quite a few inches and probably lbs. I haven't weighed myself but others tell me I look like I've lost weights and I now fit in smaller sizes. I'v been on Suboxone Film,8mg,for a year. Before switching to film,I was taking subutex tablets,8 mg, 3 years.Every time i'v tapered down to quit, I'v failed. I cant handle the endless hell of w/d symptoms. The last time I tapered off, 4 weeks later I was still sick as hell. So I deciced long-term maintenance was best. My best friend & boyfriend of 20+ yrs takes suboxone. He's been on it for over 6 yrs. He has gone thru bouts with alcoholism and prescription drug abuse, thus the suboxone use now. Today I was cleaning and found an empty Johnny Walker bottle under the sink in his bathroom. Sometimes, the film will b torn in half when I open the film up, or, it will stick 2 the inside of the package and it breaks off a piece of the film. I started suboxenoe 5 weeks ago. I skipped my last appointment because I started going backwards right away. I think I'm taking a 1/4 of a film now once a day. Last night I woke up with a severe anxiety attack. I took a film then about 12 hours later 1/4 again. I've been worried all day that I'm not going to be able to do this. I just don't want to be addicted to anything. ## One thing that I would find helpful (if you are seriously concerned about becoming addicted) is to keep a log or journal each and every date or time that you take this medication and state how you are feeling at the time you take each dose. Is the orange coating on my 60 mg morphine part of the extended release? If I wiped it off would it become immediate release? ## I really can't tell you anything about the time release mechanism that's used, without knowing the specific tablet you are talking about. Are there any markings on it, or do you know who the manufacturer is?
