What would happen to a Jack Russell dog, 15 lbs, if he ate one lipin 20mg by accident? ## Hello, Driver 5518! How is your pup? In such cases, it would be best to consult a veterinarian, I'm not very familiar with the use of most medications in animals. Did he suffer any adverse effects? Which medication did he take? Lupin is just the name of a manufacturer, not a drug, so I can't identify it just with the information you've provided. However, many drugs are used in humans and dogs, it's just the dosages that change. ## Yes, my dog had seizures, it's really weird that the last 3 times a particular person was visiting with me over the last 3 years, this has happened and I found these type pills on the floor by the bed, the pill is round and pink in color. On one side i...

I am in bad need of a new pain management doctor in AR. I live in the Russellville area, and it is so hard to find a good pain doctor around here. I suffer from cervical dystonia with extremely painful muscle spasms. I have all my records, and MRI's. I have AR Medicaid, but it's almost impossible to find a pain doctor who takes it. If anyone could help me I sure would greatly appreciate it!!! Thanks so much!!!

My husband and I had to go to South Africa for his work. We took our 2 dogs. My 8yr old Jack Russell developed Allergies. The vet in South Africa put her on Allegex and she did great on it and helped her Allergies. We are home now and my husbands next job assignment is in Florida and the same dog is struggling again with Allergies. I can not find Allergex here. Is their another medication like it or does it have a different name? My poor jack Russell is suffering, the vet has had her on Steroids and Antibiotics with only short term results. As soon as we finish the medication and the yard is mowed she is miserable again, red rash, scratching, biting, just so uncomfortable and miserable. Any help or suggestions? I cannot afford anymore vet bills. ## Hello, Peggy! How are you? I did some ...

I'm taking opana n took loperamide. Will loperamide stop my opana from working? ## Hello, Russell! How are you? No, but you may end up constipated for a few days, since the Opana can cause it as a side effect and that's basically what the Loperamide also causes. I take levothyroxine for thyroid. Will it hurt anything if I take extenze with my prescription? ## Hello, Russell! How are you? The FDA classifies Extenze as an herbal supplement, so in theory there shouldn't be any problem when taking it with your medication, but it has actually not been studied to be sure. You should also be made aware that Extenze has never been proven to achieve any of the claims that are made about it and, as a matter of fact, there is currently a suit from those who have bought it and found it to do nothing. Levothyroxine is used to treat thyroid disorders, its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, hair loss and weight changes. The best thing to do would be to check the safety of mixing them with your doctor, before taking it. ...

Been prescribed these for years and have always done fine on 15 milagrams. They were light blue but here lately I have got one's that are brown in color and not nearly as good. Can u help me out? ## Hello, Russell! How are you? What are the markings on them? I'm sorry, but just telling me the colors doesn't enable me to research any information and details for you. Can you please post back and clarify? Thank you! The FDA lists the typical side effects for this medication as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and weight changes.

[email protected] ## You are very welcome, I am glad I could help. Loved Hypotears and used for years. I recently found out that it contains BAK (Benzalkonium chloride) as a preservative which has shown to cause cellular deterioration of parts of the eye. I am pretty sure that this is the reason it was discontinued. It is very upsetting to know that BAK was never listed as an ingredient. ## Hello Russell, I'm not positive that is the reason that this particular brand of carboxymethylcellulose sodium has been discontinued as there are others that also contain benzalkonium chloride that are still available on the market. There has been a lot of speculation as to why the brand has been discontinued as the reason was never officially released. Some speculate that the preservatives were too harsh while others believe that the cost to manufacture had gon...

My boxer ate a z-pack pill. He is 85 pounds. What do I do? ## Azithromycin is used to treat canines, as well as people, so there is most likely nothing to worry about, but it would be best to check with your veterinarian. He may experience some side effects from it, which the FDA lists as possibly including nausea, drowsiness and diarrhea. Is there anything else I can help with? ## My Jack Russell ate my husband's Azithromycin 250 mg pill. Will she be alright? ## Hi Patricia. Sorry to hear about what happened. Judging from Verwon's previous response, I'm under the shared impression that your dog should be alright. However, it never hurts to contact a veterinarian just to acquire some sense of closure on the topic. Even though Azithromycin is reportedly approved for veterinar...

What is most recommended to replace super malic--since I see it has been discontinued. I used it around 2000 and it really helped, while other brands did not. ## This was just a supplement that contained 200mgs of Malic Acid and 50mgs of Magnesium, these supplements are available in many products, as combinations or separately, so it is just a matter of finding something with those amounts. They should be available in most stores and vitamin shops. Are there any other questions or comments? ## I want to read the article by Russell et al published in J Rheumatology 1995 on a randomized study of Super Malic vs placebo, but cannot find it. Could you help me? I need to know the toxicities observed with daily Super Malic, can you help me? ## doctor suggest ZYLORIC for uric acid.this cause a ...

I am taking methadone and oxycodone for pain management. I get them from the VA. I was injured in Iraq. The VA Clinic told me that my last urinalysis came back negative for oxycodone. I take my methadone and oxycodone as prescribed and cannot think why it would come back negative. The only thing I can think of is that I take Benadryl sometimes at night to help me sleep. Is there anyway that the Benadryl can cause a false negative? The VA has taken the oxycodone away because they say I'm abusing my prescription. Can anybody help me with as to why my urinalysis would come back negative? ## To Russell. I am going through the same situation with my elderly mom. She has been on oxycodone for 6-7 years. A week ago the doctor had ordered a blood serum drug screen which came back totally ne...
