I've tried searching several databases now, since first seeing your post, but I haven't found anything that matches this among the U.S. prescription medications. I think it's most likely that this is an over the counter product of some type and that's why I asked where you found it, since some products are regional and knowing the general location may help to narrow it down. Does anyone else recognize this capsule?

I found a bottle in my old car and found inside it a few pills that in one side was blue or royal blue and in the other side was white. Opened it up and inside was a same SIzed ppill form that was dark brown. The smell off it could pass for beef broth cubes. Help would be appreciated. ## Are there any markings, at all, on them? If not, from this description, I can only guess that it is an over the counter product, of some type, most likely an herbal supplement. However, these is also a small chance that it could be a foreign medication. Is anyone else familiar with this product?

Can metoprolol 100 cause ear pain ## Hi Roy, Metoprolol doesn't appear to list any adverse effects associated with ear pain in particular. However I have noticed a number of reports from users taking this medication who experienced what they call a "pulsating/ringing/buzzing" sound in the ear. That said, I wouldn't be surprised at all if it does cause ear pain in some patients as a result of this low/high pitch frequency. If it has become too bothersome or severe, I would just suggest contacting your doctor and/or reporting it to the FDA's MedWatch (Adverse events) program online at fda.gov/Safety/MedWatch. BLUE CAPSULE WITH SJ AND 646 WRITTEN ON IT THE COLOR IS ROYAL BLUE ## I was able to find this capsule. It is called UTA or Urinary Tract Antiseptic. It has Hyoscyamine 0.12 mg, Methenamine 120 mg, Methylene Blue 10 mg, Phenyl Salicylate 36 mg, and Sodium Phosphate 40.8 mg. It serves as an antibiotic for infection, has a component of pain medication in it, consists of a muscle relaxer to relax the bladder muscles and regulates urine flow. I'd like to know about the availability of artridol. ## Hi Roy, From what I've been reading in some of the other threads here, it looks like Artridol is commonly available as an over the counter medication in Mexico. However, if you're looking for it in the US, you'd probably need to visit your doctor for a prescription first, as it does contain Rx ingredients. We actually have a bottle sitting around here, somewhere, from the last time my husband had bronchitis, and started developing pneumonia. It is used to suppress cough. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, numb mouth, and numb throat. Is there anything else I can help with?

This isn't listed in the U.S. prescription drug databases, however, there is a foreign tablet matching this description that is claimed to be a generic of Viagra.
