yellow V on one side and 2577 its suppose to be the same as roxycotin but i dont see that being the same ## The pill in description is Colchicine (0.6 mg). Based on my research I don't see Roxicodone having any relation to this pill whatsoever. Colchicine's medicinal use is in the treatment of gout and familial Mediterranean fever; it can also be used as initial treatment for pericarditis and preventing recurrences of the condition, despite dosing issues concerning its toxicity. Filled a prescription, i think i received the wrong pill ? it is for sever back pain. i'm afraid to take it. can anyone answer my question..please. Just to let you know I'm in my late 70s. Thank you! ## Sounds like you got the lovely A 215. A 30 mg little round blue pill. It's probably oxycodone. It isn't the wrong pill. Many pharmaceutical companies make these. The others would be the M box. This is a light blue with a cut that says 30 on the top with a M in a square on the back. I believe it is by Malinckrodt pharmaceutical. Then then is the large blue 224 and also the dark blue v-cut with a vertical line on it with its numbers. All in all you got what i think is the best and most potent of all the oxycodone pills. They also have the 15 mg, it's a light green with ...

small mint green pill ## On posts such as this, without more details, there is actually no way for anyone to confirm whether or not the tablet in question was Oxycodone. The reason for this is due to the fact that the colors actually don't mean anything, it is the markings on a tablet or capsule that enable it to be identified. If they wanted to, any given manufactured could toss the proper coloring agents into all of their pills to make them a mint green color, the could make them all round and as close to the same size as they could, there are no regulations preventing them from doing so. That said, there are several round, green tablets that contain Oxycodone in the regular release formulation that is a generic for Roxicodone, but as I said, with only this limited information pro...

What does a roxycodone 15 mg immediate release look like.. I was prescribed this today. I had hip surgery and was sent home with a little green pill with a m in a box on one side and a 15 on the other. Is this the same thing? My bottle says oxycodone 15 mg.. But it doesn't specify immediate release. ## There is no immediate release Oxycodone in that dosage, thus, the 15mg tablets that you've received are regular release tablets. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. Many doctors do write them as being immediate release, because they are not time released like Oxycontin. Is there anything else I can help with?

Yes, this is a 15mg Oxycodone tablet, which is a generic for Roxicodone, thus if your husband takes 10mgs, this is stronger. However, I can't provide you with any definitive information, since you didn't provide any details, such as the markings on the ones he takes. Can you please post back with more details? Thanks!

When can I start taking my hydrocodone10 mg and feel them n they work ## Hi starcastle, Many of the reviews I've come across in related threads here discuss waiting 2-5 days after Suboxone before being able to feel the full effects of other opiate/opioid analgesics, such as Hydrocodone. To me, this basically implies that patients should wait until they're in some amount of withdrawal from the Suboxone, in order for its presence on the receptors wear off. However, if anyone else has more information to add from personal experien...

What does a roxy 10mg look like? ## @Cody, Based on my research, they don't make Roxicodone in 10mg form. It only appears to come in 5mg, 15mg, & 30mg tablets. These look like they had gotten a little damp. Are the 187, on the inside of the pill, are they green like the pill or white? ## Hello, Mickey! How are you? This tablet is manufactured by Caraco Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 15mgs of Oxycodone in a regular release formulation. Looking at their list of ingredients, it appears that the coloring agents, FD&C Blue NO.2 and D&C Yellow No. 10 are used throughout the tablet, so the color should be uniform.
