Roxicodone Can I Cut It Up

Please help me, i do not want to hurt my unborn child and have no clue on what to do to stop taking these pills without getting horribly sick like i do. the withdrawl is soo bad, i get every single effect, its so horrible. I need to know if I can cut my 15mg oxycodone pills in half? They are light green with 15 on one side and M in a box on the other side. The pills are scored, which makes me think that I can safely cut them in half. Please help! (Long read but I am a single mom & don’t want to withdraw around my kids) I’m 26, have chronic pain, and been on Oxycodone for two years. I had an anterior cervical discectomy on my neck January 2014. I've been up & down on my doses since the surgery. Hydrocodone 10s to Roxicodone 15mg. A month ago, my pain was under control and almost gone. My pain management doctor & I decided to wean me off of the medication slowly. I cut down from Roxi 15s 5x per day to Oxy 10HCL 4x per day. I almost passed away in 2012..I saved someone's life and my head was smashed. I had to learn to walk and talk properly again and have continual pain. I get a script for roxicodone monthly from my doctor..pcp. I also see a dr that does a laser on my right eye and face...I had horrible double vision and was supposed to lose the eye. I barely see double out of it at all now but it seems to of plateaued and won't get better. I have been on fentanyl patch for 10 yrs, and Roxicodone for break thru pain. I was in a car accident in 1998 and have had more issues since. My pain Dr. has decided that he will be following CDC guidelines for PCP's even tho it is a Pain clinic. Hello this is the first time I have ever posted in a forum but I do not know where else to turn. So I have been taking Oxycodone off and on for about 5 yrs. I was hit by a car in AZ while I was walking and after a few MRI's I was put on 15 mg Roxicodone 5 times a day I was taking that for about 1yr now in az they are not that strict on Thier laws now sometimes I would have more pain so I would take 30 Mgs instead of 15, I told my doc and he said that happens sometimes so a few months before I left Az I was taking 30 Mgs up to 5 times a day (prescribed of course) so I end up leaving AZ and I move to Washington state the first thing I do is get reffered to A neurologist and pain management, the first thing he does is tell me I was on way to much and cuts me to 10mgs 3 times a day........

I fill ALL of my prescriptions with express scripts including my Roxicodone. I have a severe case of chronic Pancreatitis, which causes acute attacks almost every month. On top of this, which is unbelievably painful, I have 4 herniated discs in my back as well as a completely blown out left knee. I also have lingering pain from several gun shot wounds I was lucky enough to live through in Afghanistan. Express Scripts however sends my pain meds every 34 DAYS, LEAVING ME IN WITHDRAWAL, for the 1st couple months, until I started cutting the amount I took from 4 to 3 the last week, so I don't suffer too bad from pain or withdrawal. I wish I could find a legitimate pharmacy that fills my prescriptions in a timely manner and accepts my insurance. I guess serving ones country does not matt...

They will be cutting my roxicodone back and they offer in.its place.opana. how do they compare? ## What dosage Opana are they offering? They are both narcotics, but I can't really compare for you, without knowing more information. Can you please post back with more details? Thanks! Does anyone have recommendations of any doctors who will actually manage your pain in North Alabama (Gadsden to Huntsville area)? I have been on pain management for greater than 10 years, always been compliant with my treatment plan, never failed a drug panel, have LOTS of documentation showing my problems but yet NO ONE wants to truly manage my pain. In the past it seems as if I am placed on a regimen that finally works then all the sudden the MD or NP says that due to DEA they can no longer prescribe meds as I have been taking (that they started me on mind you) and they drop my doses drastically??? During the 10+ years I have only saw 2 pain management MD's so I do not doctor shop, etc..after a significant cut (3 -60mg Oxycontin's, 3 -30mg Roxicodone PRN BTP, Soma PRN to 2 - 6...

I take about 8-10 roxi 30s a day from a legit neck problem.PM doc also gives opana 10,20. I never took them once,afraid of er pills.i am out of roxi.will opana help just take edge off.i don't want to call doc,as I am a week early and would actually prefer to come off.please just tell me if it would help,w WD.i don't know anything about snort or beating timer,that stuff,if i cut a 20 will it work,so please don't get side-tract ## Yes.
