I was given Percocet 10/325 when discharged from the ER for a bulging disc resulting in BIG paun. (Continuing back problems~ degenerative disc disease, old horseback riding injury, etc.) The Neurosurgeon changed my pain med to Roxicodone (oxycodone hcr on bottle) 10 mg. I am ABSOLUTELY NOT getting the same relief from this medication. Can you tell me why? Same stuff only no acetaminophen in Roxicodone right? Brand new roxicodone 30 is pink with m and 3 4 4 on it. I went to get my monthly presription at medicine stop now carries these for there roxicodone supply. ## I have recently gotten the same script. I actually prefer these new ones over the old blue with m on it. Very good. ## The only listing I can find in the current databases for a pill with M 344 on it lists it as containing 8mgs of Ondansetron, which is used to help treat or prevent nausea and vomiting. Do they list as manufacturer on the prescription bottles? Is the M in a box or is just a plain M?

Has your doctor diagnosed what it causing it? Have they had you try any of the medications that can specifically help with this type of problem? I take 3 pills of 30 mgs. of Roxicodone per day. It doesn't put a dent in the severe and chronic back pain I have in my back, buttocks, hips and legs. Is there another prescription medication that can be taken with it to lessen the pain? ## Talk to your Dr about Extended Release medications. They only have to be taken once every 12 hours and they give better pain management than Immediate Release medications because they build up in your system and they last longer.

I have what is believed to be a roxicodone 30 mg pill. It has A-215 on one side and the other side has nothing on it. It is usually blue but it looks purple. Is this pill a 30 mg roxicodone? ## The manufacturer, Actavis, describes it as being blue and shows 2 different shades for the tablet with this marking, and they do list it as containing 30mgs of Oxycodone in a regular release formulation. its a small round white pill with m on one side and other side is rubbed off ## There are several doses of regular release Oxycodone, the generic for Roxicodone, that are made by Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals. They have an M on one side and numbers on the other. However, I cannot confirm that this is what your pill is, without knowing what those additional numbers are. I was on 30 mg Roxie 3x day, plus 15 mg Roxie 1x day, but doctor now changed and gave me 2 8 mg of dilaudid a day to be taken just 1/2 pill every 6 hours. Not working for me and it's almost 3 months and it's worse not better as he said I needed that time to let it all in my system.
