Dropped my 20mg Roxicodone in rainwater and it dissolved completely in 44mL. How can I dry the rainwater out of it in hopes of salvaging my medication? ## Hi - I’m not sure if I fully understand the question, but I think the short answer is “you can’t”. I don’t think you could reconstitute the pill, or evaporate the rainwater and ingest any powder that’s left. I think the best you could do is swallow the dissolved pill with the rainwater. ## I don’t think you can and I wouldn’t recommend drinking the rain water because that’s how you get parasites. Every time I have to go in the hospital (ANY HOSPITAL) I'm given roxicodone 20mg ( one 15 mg and one 5mg). At home I take a 20 20mg oxycodone. I swear the roxi's are much weaker than the oxy's I take at home. Anyone else notice this? I also take oxycontin 20mg and they always give that to me. The only dosage available in the OxyIR is a 5mg capsule. Anything over 5mgs and in tablet form is either the regular release (Roxicodone), or the time released formulation, which is known as Oxycontin. I take Opana 20mg three times a day for chronic pain, along with Roxicodone 15mg 4X's a day. I was wondering if anyone out there had noticed that the Opana's don't do anything as much as the Roxis/Oxycodone do? I also just use them as perscribed and am only in my 20's and have had over 35 surgeries. I go see my pain management physician in a couple of days and want to know if anyone out there has tried something similar to what I'm not and what they might have been switched to to get better relief of pain. Are there any good drs in or around Lexington NC that will get me back on my pain meds without all the drama? I have been on Roxicodone 20mg 5xs a day, prescribed through my primary care dr. He started to get afraid of prescribing the amount of medication I needed, after 2 years, and referred me out to a pain clinic. In 6 months, I have had 5 u/a's, several pill counts, and it doesn't appear to be getting any better. I have Medicare and 1 u/a alone leaves me with a bill of $62 left over to pay once Medicare has paid their part. The whole thing is just getting to be too costly! i was on methadone 3x10mg plus roxicodone (oxocodone fast release) 3-5 @ 30mg/day. I stopped methadone several days ago and roxi a day and a half ago before starting subutex treatment today. I did not go into rapid w/d but feeling lousy now. I took 20mg of sub and feel a partial w/d like a weak flu and general lousiness. can't sit around and just want time to pass so I feel better. percodan ## I've been on Norco 10/325s x 2, 10/day for 5 yrs and Opana 20mg x 7 = 140mgs for 4 yrs now. Started at 10mg and worked my way up in the past 4 yrs. Now the Norco doesn't do much for the pain anymore nor do I even get a buzz, so my doc switched me to Roxicodone 30mg x 6/day. I was told by a pharmasist that they make a 10mg, 20mg and 40mg generic 40mg Oxycontin. Is that true? ## They made Oxycodone, but not in the time released Oxycontin formulation, the only company that makes that is Purdue.
