Is one pill stronger than the other between the 512 pill and 54/543 pill? ## Hello, Keikey! How are you? No, they've just been manufactured by different companies. The one with the 54 543 on it is the name brand Roxicet that's manufactured by Roxane Laboratories and the one with the 512 on it is a generic that's manufactured by Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals, but both contain 5mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?

i found a small round white pill with k 18 on one side i think it is a rixicet but im not sure. plz help ## First, I would like to clarify that there is no medication called Roxicet, that is a common misunderstanding. That said, yes, tablet contains 5mgs of Oxycodone, a generic for Roxcodone. This is a narcotic pain reliever. Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. You can read more on it here: Is there anything else I can help you with? ## Yes there is Roxicet. And they are 5mg Oxycodone / 325 Acetaminophen. Made by Roxane Labs. Pills are 54/543 on them. You should do research before spouting out to others.

I have been on butrans 10mcg/hour equizilnet to 90mg of morphine or other a day .I would like to change to roxicodone 30 mg because I work out in the heat and the butrans release to quickly and end up being out by the 7 day .but don't know how to go about asking my dr. Any suggestions ? Please help ## My advice would be to just discuss the issue with your doctor, without asking for any specific medication. Trying to get a specific medication tends to give the impression that you are drug seeking, however, there is no harm in telling your doctor of the problem. Roxicodone, however, is a regular release formulation of Oxycodone and it is not going to help control pain for very long, either. The time released formulation is Oxycontin and works for 12 hours. Does anyone else have any ad...

pink on one side with barr 323 and other side white with 25 ## This is not Roxicet. The pill in description is Hydroxyzine pamoate (25 mg). Hydroxyzine is used primarily as an antihistamine for the treatment of itches and irritations, an antiemetic for the reduction of nausea, as a weak analgesic by itself and as an opioid potentiator, and as an anxiolytic for the treatment of anxiety. Several adverse reactions have been noted in manufacturer guidelines, such as deep sleep, incoordination and dizziness have been reported in children and adults, as well as others such as hypotension, tinnitus and headaches. blue m 30 mlg. roxicet ## There is no medication called Roxicet, there is Roxicodone, which just contains the narcotic Oxycodone and there is Percocet, which couples the Oxycodone with Acetaminophen. Is the M in a box, with the 30 on the opposite side, above a score line? If so, then yes, this is 30mgs of Oxycodone, the active ingredient in Roxicodone, which is a regular release formulation of this narcotic analgesic. Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Read more: Are there any questions or comments?

Roxiet seems to be the only thing that helps me be able to function. I get energy, less depression and less anxiety. Is there a more non-addictive substitute. ## Hello, Tootie! How are you? No, all narcotic analgesics, such as this, carry the same risk of being habit forming and/or addictive. Usually, addiction occurs for people who experience the effects that you do, such as the energy boost and uplifting effects. What other medications have you tried to treat your issues?

I have 2 roxicet 5-325 tablet that expired 9/28/2012. Out of the ten that were prescribed the two left look in good condition don't smell funny or anything. Going out of my mind with a migraine and wondering if they are safe to take since I've got nothing else and can't drive. ## Hello, Sandy! How are you? This medication doesn't get dangerous, once expired, but it does begin to lose effectiveness, so it may no longer work as well as it did, when it was new. Due to the Acetaminophen in them, taking extra isn't safe, so it would really be best to dispose of them and see your doctor for a new prescription. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipati...

a 215 little round blue pill ## Based on the description provided, I found your pill to be Oxycodone hydrochloride (30 mg). This is not the generic Roxicet. I have celiac disease and I need to find out if they contain gluten. I also would like a list of all ingredients because there may be some hidden ingredient that affects my system. ## In the name brand Roxicet, the inactive ingredients are listed as: colloidal silicon dioxide, croscarmellose sodium, microcrystalline cellulose and stearic acid. However, this only applies to the name brand, if you have a generic, please post back with the markings on the tablets, or the manufacturer name and I'll gladly check for you. Are there any other questions or comments?

Colonoscopy on Monday... no aspirin allowed for a week... have toothache... can I take a producer today?? been taking Tylenol...acetaminophen. Anyone??? ## Hello, Rick! How are you? Roxicet contains Acetaminophen and Oxycodone, so there is no Aspirin in it. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. If you're allowed to take Tylenol/Acetaminophen, then you should be abel to take it, but checking with your doctor would be best. Is there anything else I can help with?

capsule ## First off, I would like to state that there is no medication called Roxicet. This is a confusion of the names of two different brand name medications; Percocet, which contains Acetaminophen and Oxycodone and Roxicodone, which just contains Oxycodone. The Oxycodone is a narcotic and can cause side effects such as: nausea, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Can you provide the imprint from the capsules? That will enable to us to help you determine what medication you have. ## sorry but you are wrong, roxicet is the new generic form of percocet, I just got some from CVS for a migrane and it said on the bottle "ROXICET 10/500" ## have got roxycet from a drug store in GA. they are generic and they are red and white with no marking i have never seen this before. I do l...

I have had gastric bypass and I have a serious issue when it comes to the absorption of medications. I have severe chronic pain. My physician prescribed roxicet solution however I can't find a pharmacy in a 100 mile radius that has it available. What do you suggest? ## Hello, ChiChi! How are you? I'm sorry about the problem that you're having. How have you been checking with the pharmacies? If you've been calling them, then it isn't likely that you received an accurate answer. They have no way of knowing if the person on the phone is a legitimate customer with a need or a potential thief, so they usually just say that they don't have any controlled substance. The only way to really find out is by physically going to the pharmacy, with your prescription in hand. T...

I have been on narcotics for many years, trying to stay in control my pain. I take percocet 10/325 4 each day, if I switched to roxicet what dose would I need to manage my pain level. ## If you take 4 a day then you would probably get the 30 milligram and maybe also the 15's once a day because you take 4 percocets a day but I'm no doctor but know alot about how doctors do things with that kind of medication. ## Actually, Roxicet and Percocet are the same medication, they both contain Acetaminophen and Oxycodone, so there would be no change in dosage, when going from one them to other. Where you perhaps referring to Roxicodone, which only contains Oxycodone, without the Acetaminophen?

It is a generic for Roxicodone. Side effects may include: nausea, dizziness, dry mouth and constipation. Learn more: Is there anything else I can help with?

My Roxicet 30 mg has M30 on it and is blue or green but my neighbors is blue or green w/o M30 on it. What is the difference and how can I tell if they are fake? My neighbor is 73 and she went to the pain clinic and tested neg for this pain med and she was released from the clinuc after taking this med for over 4 years and suffered withdrawals for 2 days as well as from oxycontin and xanax, until i happened to check on her and finally got it out of her she had been out of pain meds for 2 days and she called an ambulance because she did not know they were withdrawals and thought she was having a heart attack. I cancel the ambulance but EMT still came out and checked her vitals and she opted not to go to the ER. I gave her some of my meds which were the same, even though I know I'm not...

"Where To Find" I have been getting my Rx every month for Roxicet 5 325. I went to get it recently and was told it is on back order. I have avascular neucrosis in my hips, and carpal tunnel in my wrist. How do I find out what pharmacy has it available? Thank you. ## Have you found it, yet? I'm afraid the only thing you can really do is ask at various pharmacies, however, calling won't do any good. Due to the high risk of theft and diversion, they will usually just say they don't carry it, or have it in stock. This means you actually have to physically go in, with your prescription in hand to get a real answer. ## Always go to the hospital outpatient pharmacy when drugs become hard to find. They have it all..

Have you ever seen a roxicet 15 that is a small oval pill with RP on one side and 15 on the other? ## Hello, Kat! How are you? This tablet is manufactured by Rhodes Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 15mgs of Oxycodone in a regular release formulation, so it is a generic for Roxicodone, rather than Roxicet, which would also contain Acetaminophen. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?
