Have found this round light yellow pill in my home and would like to identify. It is round with the logo of Cobalt on the back ('V' shape) and DZ underscored with 5 beneath. ## Are you in Canada? This is not listed in the U.S. prescription drug databases and with it having the DZ on it, I was suspicious that it may be Diazepam, a generic for Valium, but it doesn't appear that Cobalt manufactures it and their website doesn't list the markings on their pills, just the drug names that they manufacture and their name brand equivalent. You may be able to call them and ask what it is, if you are in Canada, they list their number as 905-815-1820. If you get an answer, could you please post back and let us know what it is? ## Hey there i just found exactly the same pill in my ho...

Yellow pill with A on one side, blank on the other. I'm allergic to aspirin and am really trying to find out what it is. Could it be ativan? ## Hi Jon, How does the letter A appear on the tablet? Is it a normal looking capital "A" or is it an embedded shape that looks like an A or a V (without the little line -)? I've come across the latter, which is also a round yellow tablet, so I just wanted to double check with you on that. Just for verification, the pill I'm describing is Zelapar 1.25 mg made by Valeant Pharmaceuticals with a National Drug Code of 00187-0453. Also, whereabouts did you get it from? If it was from a local pharmacy perhaps that would be the best place to take it for an immediate means of identification. Hope this helps!

little rond pill engraved 18 or 81 ## We found several spoons that had been obviously used to melt pills for injection in my friend's room after his death. Most of them had a yellow residue on them. We found only one pill, it is small, round, yellow and has '81' engraved on it. It is not the low dose aspirin with the black 81, it's just carved in the pill. No other discernible markings.

Hi. I was cleaning my 16 year-old son's room and found a bottle of little, round yellow pills. About 30 of them. My heart sank. I think they are dilaudid or hydromorphone, at least what I've been able to glean from the research I've done. But I am not sure; I cannot find any reference to the inscripted P on one side (4 is on the other) vs. the K or M commonly found with dilaudid. Can anyone help me identify it? ## I am sorry to hear about your findings ... and sadly, yes, the pills which you have described are Dilaudid 4 mg. The manufacturer's product sheet states "DILAUDID 4 mg TABLETS are yellow, debossed with a P on one side and the number 4 on the opposite side." (PDF format, page 18). I wish you and your son the best with this. Do you have any other question...
