The pill has no imprint at all, is a dark red color (almost maroon), and is 1cm wide. I have found a couple on the floor of my closet and have no idea what they are or where they came from. ## I have the same question. I have someone taking several of these pills at one time along with a combination of other pills. I have no idea what this pill is and cant find it anywhere on the internet. It is a round/red speckled pill with no markings on it. ## Because this pill has no markings, it is going to be difficult to determine what this tablet contains, unless you would pay to have it lab tested, somewhere. If these are in fact prescription pills, It's highly unlikely that they are manufactured in the U.S, since there are no imprints. U.S. law requires that all prescription drugs have a ...

I found a round red pill with 544 embossed in it. Do you know what it is? ## This may be Walmart's Equate Stool Softener with Stimulant Laxative (compare to Peri-Colase). ## i found a tiny red pill that has [ ] an imprint on one side. does anyone know what it is? ## @Susan, Is there any chance that the pill you have says "S44" instead of "544"? If so, a round red pill with S44 is reportedly identified as Docusate sodium/senna docusate sodium (50 mg) + Sennosides (8.6 mg). This is a laxative used for treating constipation, as post #1 suggested. For verification, the product labeler/distributor is listed as McKesson and the pill itself carries a National Drug Code of 62011-0165. I hope this helps!

What is this pill? - Red, round with uppercase R on one side and 225 imprint on the other. Not scored. ## Two other related discussion threads here point to Tramadol being a match: 1) Red Pill 225 2) Red Pill Imprinted With 225 Post # 3 in the following thread surmises that a very similarly depicted pill is Tramadol 225mg slow-release: 3) Red Pill No Markings Scored I haven't been able to verify this finding myself, however, it is something to consider as a possibility. Have you thought about sending a pill to a lab for closer analysis? Does anyone know what a red round pill marked with 225 does? ## Tramadol ## If it works? Depends what you need it to work for. It’s a milder prescription pain med commonly known as tramadol - not to be confused with ultram as people who aren’t knowledgeable think they’re one in the same. They’re not. Tramadol is what you have and all patients respond differently to meds. One may get relief while another forgets they took it which is a sure sign it’s not strong enough. Depending where you’re from and who you ask tramadol is in the opiate family... again. Flipped flopped there in USA, but it’ll help mild pain if you’re not opiate tolerant - if you’re taking anything in the opioid family, say Vicodin or Oxycodone, tramadol won’t h...

What is this pill? I was told it's Hydrocodone from Russia but I need confirmation. ## Hi mijaja, Any pill with no imprint could literally be anything from A to Z. I think your best bet in this type of scenario would be to have it analyzed by a lab or drug panel to at least verify the presence of opiates/etc... Did you get this pill from a pharmacy on the web or through some other means? If I had to guess I would agree with you that it's probably not of US origin, being that the FDA requires imprints on their prescription drugs. However, it doesn't rule out the possibility of something over-the-counter or foreign and for that reason alone I think you'll need a more trustworthy (or evidence-based) way to verify and measure its contents.
