Your pharmacy was permitted to use up their prior stock of the original Oxycontin, but once they ran out, they have to use the new product. They probably did not have enough left of the original to finish filling your prescription, so they had to use the new product. Is there anything else I can help you with?

This ex 20 is oxycotin 20 Mg made for Mexico generic for OC 20. ## I can also confirm that a round pink tablet imprinted EX on one side and 20 on the other side is a 20 mg OxyContin tablet made for export to Mexico prior to 2002. I hear that in Mexico they put EX on it and not OC. Does anyone here like this one in comparison to some of the US brands?

ip or o/c what is different ## Did you mean the OP marking? The original Oxycontin manufactured by Purdue Pharma bore the OC marking, with a number designating the dosage on the opposite side. However, they have discontinued it and released a new formulation that is intended to help prevent abuse and it has an OP on one side, with the number designating the dosage on the opposite. I found a small round pill that's sky blue with p 20 on one side and blank on the other side. The p is located over the 20. I couldn't find out what it is I googled it with no luck. Some say its oxycontin 20mg. But how do you know for sure? I have a small brown pill with 30 on one side and ON underlined on the other, I was told its an oxy but I'm not sure because I have been looking it up but everything I find says small brown pill with 30 on one side and OC on the other is an oxy but this pill doesn't say OC any ideas anyone, trying to be safe , not a guinea pig ## Based on the description provided, I believe that pill is the new Canadian formulation of 30mg ER oxycodone which is "OxyNEO". I was able to reach this conclusion after someone else identified their round pink "ON 20" pill as Canadian OxyNEO (20mg). The "ON" was also underlined on theirs as well. If so how was it?? ## @James, Personally, I wouldn't trust this pill if you didn't go through your doctor and a licensed pharmacy to obtain it. As from what I can tell, no one else on this site has come across anything like it in other related threads. The OX 20 imprint just seems like a fake in my opinion, based on NIH.gov depictions of how 20mg Oxycontin should look if it was actually a legitimate Oxycontin pill. Real 20mg Oxycontin's by Purdue Pharmaceuticals are, like you said, marked with OC 20 or OP 20.
