Doc prescribed Rosuvas 5 for my husband for his high cholesterol. The label says Rosuvastatin Calcium IP equivalent to Rosuvastatin 5 mg. Are both the same, I am afraid to use the medication since it says Calcium - my husband has stones in his kidney. ## It is not that type of calcium, in this case it just refers to the specific chemical salt that the medication has been derived from.
