I know it is a generic ritalin. im looking for a link that would have a photo of the pill and information. ## Ritalin "Sz 20" is manufactured by Sandoz Canada. I'm unable to locate a photo of the pill itself, however, Sandoz Canada does have contact information which you can call or email and someone there may be able to send you a photo of the pill or help in describing the physical properties of the pill: As far as information goes, Ritalin tablets contain the active ingredient methylphenidate hydrochloride, which is a psychostimulant drug approved for treatment of attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder, postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome and narcol...

can you split a ER 20 mg pill of ritalin in half? (sz 780) ## No, the ER stands for extended release, which means it is a time released formulation and cutting or crushing the tablets could result in your getting too much of the medication, at once. This could result in an overdosage. Is there anything else I can help you with?

This pill is nasty. It is described as SR by the manufacturer (slow or sustained release). I have been taking Millen 4 x 20 per day with no problems. Was this pill dispensed as a mistake by the pharmacy or by the doctor. I took less than two and didn't get a wink of sleep. Markings are Sandoz peach, scored, 790, SZ or ZS. The bottle says SR. It has taken me so long to get to get to the combination of pills I am at that if I rock the boat, I am scared that the whole research of a group of safe pills will be in jeopardy. I can cut back on the Sandoz without a problem, no odd effects as described on the net, ## Just discovered that I have been wasting years -- and tasks undone -- by taking generic Ritalin manufactured by Sandoz (not time release). Hasn't done anything for me and my...

The pill is small round and white with the letters sz on one side and the number 20 on the other. I was told it was a 2 mg clonazepam. I live in Canada so I assume it was manufactured here. Is there a definitive online guide to drug identification? ## No, unfortunately, there really isn't any definitive guide that lists everything, especially for various countries. Since this is from Canada, I can't be 100% certain, but I have found listings that identify this tablet as containing 20mgs of Methylphenidate, the active ingredient in Ritalin, which is used to treat conditions such as ADHD and Narcolepsy. Can anyone confirm this? ## I am prescribed them, yes it is 100% absolutely a Ritalin tablet. I guarentee you it is not a Clonazepam. If you are still unsure of this response, just...

Related Thread: view_drug_submission.asp?Drug=sz+790&Page=146846 Do you have any other questions or information to add? Please post back if you do... ## Been taking this generic brand of Ritalin for several years and wondering why it stopped having any or little effect on my ADD and also why it left my system so quickly (almost immediately). Thought it was a built-up tolerance. Recently discovered (by paying more than double price for the brand-name Ritalin) that this generic drug is far different from the brand-name one. The difference is acute and worth investigation.
