white pill M on one side C37 on the other side ## Got some same ritalin A/B on one side and CG on the other ## I cannot find a listing for the M C37 tablet, nor for the AB CG tablet. Were these from a prescription obtained at your local pharmacy? If so, your pharmacist should be able to confirm what they are. For instance, the name brand Ritalin LA, which is capsule shaped has different markings, depending on the dosage, here's a description of those: Yellow, capsule shaped, marked with NVR R30, 30mgs. White, capsule shaped, marked with NVR R20, 20mgs. Brown, capsule shaped, marked with NVR R40, 40mgs. White/Brown, capsule shaped, marked with NVR R10, 10mgs. Why waste money on Focalin when Ritalin is the same thing? It just contains the active as well as the inactive form (they are mirror-images or enantiomers). The inactive form has never been demonstrated to be harmful so why bother to remove it? It is costly to do this. Here is why: to prolong the patent coverage (read profit). NOTE: in some drugs the mirror image form can be harmful but not in this case. I'm a PhD organic chemist by the way, not a Pharm. D., but I know the pharmaceutical industry. You should ask a Pharm. D (not just a pharmacist) at your hospital pharmacy (you should always confirm what ANYBODY says on the internet). BE CRITICAL. Ciao.
