Ritalin Drug Test

I by accident drank my roommates coffee which had 3 milligrams of Ritalin in it at 8 PM on Sunday evening. I have a drug test (which tests for Ritalin) at 7 AM on tuesday morning. What can I do to get it out of my system before the drug test. How long would it take to get that 3 milligrams of Ritalin out of my system. I don't regularly or normally take Ritalin I took it by accident. Seven year old grandson is on Methylphenidate. Doctor says drug test every 3 months. Insurance says not covered. First drug test statement, only EOB not bill, says cost is $6800. Cannot find anything on the web that says this drug test is required in Indiana. Can anyone help or tell me who to contact?

I take methadone 20.mg 3 Xaday oxycodone 10mg 4 Xaday. I take vistiril and flexiril 20 mg 1 Xaday. I take 1000 mg metformin 2 Xaday I take 50 mg of benadryl 3-4 time a week. I take naproxin sodium 220mg 2Xaday. I take many herbal supplements also. 6 months ago I test positive for cocaine. I don't use and now they say I test positive for ritalin. What could cause this. I am worried about being cut off my medicine I've been on 10 plus years. ## A good person to ask is your pharmacist. They know more about medication interactions, etc. than doctors do a lot of the time, and know how they are absorbed. He can probably help you considerably. Good Luck

I took 60 mg of Ritalin in a course of three days and didn't have anything for three days after, but on the third day I had a drug screen from the methadone clinic. Will it show up? Before that I have been clean for almost two years. I have never failed a drug test since I've been going to the clinic. My sobriety means everything and since I had that slip I'm worried to death. Can ritalin and concerta stimulants show up in a urine drug screen? I take those medications, and twice now I've tested positive for cocaine. I haven't did any coke, since back in the 1990's. If anyone can help answer my questions, and give me some documentation, that I can show my probation officer. If I took adderall and ritalin the night before a drug test that is going to be sent to a lab, will it show up that I took two separate things? I know they are both Amphetamines but will it show that I took both of them? ## While ritalin can show up on a urine test as a false positive , it is unlikely to do so. Some cheap urine tests may detect ritalin as a false positive as amphetamines, however if you are getting drug tested by a reputable company , its alll but almost cetain it will not show on a drug test. I stopped taking Concerta 3 days prior to a urine test and my Dr said not only did it show up, he claims it's Ritalin? I do not take Ritalin. Why is it showing up and as Ritalin? ## Did you ever figure this out. And how much were you taking? ## Concerta is extended release methylphenidate ?? I am desperate for someone to be able to assist me in clarifying a Ritalin hair follicle test conducted on my hair. My hair was sent off to a laboratory in France as no-one in my country tests for Ritalin or does hair follicle testing, hence I cannot get any assistance or explanation on the results (this was a personal test not work related). I am in pain clinic which prescribes oxycontin 80 mg and 60 mg, oxycodone 30 mg and 15 mg as well as adderall 30 mg. drug screen came back positive for ritalin, not adderall and have been threatened with dismissal. Someone please help me! I screwed up and admit I abused ritalin the night before my pain clinic doctor gave me a urine test, so my question is since I took about fifty 20mg ritalin pills the night before and the doctor sends my urine out to a lab will it show up that I was abusing methylphenidate and thus leading to my discharge from pain management? I take focalin and I have to take a urine test for a new job, will i pass? I take 20mg everyday, once a day. ## I've taken a couple focalin one day and a concerta a day or two after. Will either show up in a urine test? ## You should be fine. I've passed urine drug tests only an hour after taking a Focalin capsule and I didn't do anything special like drinking a ton of water or anything like that. I took 10mg adderall, 2 days after that i took another 10mg, day after that I took 20mg, and the day after that I took another 20mg (did adderall for 3 days in a row for a total of 50mg consumed). 2 days after that I did 10mg of ritalin. im on ritalin ive had a urine test it came back postive for cocain i've also had police test ritalin dust and that came back postive for cocain is this posable ## i just received the same notice today for a police drug test. i popped for cocaine but seriously have never once in my life done it. i am prescribed ritalin so there HAS to be something going on with that. sad thing is that they look at the drug test as the end all, never admitting there could possibly be a mistake. so i'm stuck writing a letter for appeal....which will probably wind up in the garbage. i am so pissed right now, i dont have a clue of what to do about it. what makes it worse is that everyone assumes i'm lying. if you had any resolution i'd love to hear about it. {edited for privacy}

I currently go to a suboxone clinic and get drug tested every week. I used marijuana tonight (sat) and was wondering if that will come up in my test test on Thursday? ## For sure it will they use the best screening out there but you will be ok for weed just say you had a really bad headache and that's the only thing that helps but if you get into harder drugs they will cut you off and if you have been doing it long enough you know how bad that is. ## I am being prescribed suboxone, what does the Dr. office specifically test for, and will ritalin show up???
