white capsule pill what is inside it ## This capsule is manufactured by Novartis Pharmaceuticals, and they list it as being a 20mgs Focalin capsule, so it is similar to, but not the same as Ritalin. Is this a generic 20 mg of ritalin??? I'm confused! Can't find a pic or info online please help me out ## Yes, it is. This capsule does contain 20mgs of Methylphenidate, which is the active ingredient in Ritalin and this is a time released formulation. Learn more Methylphenidate details here. Is this actually generic Ritalin? I have looked online everywhere and since there is no other imprint I've had no luck.. Please help! ## Based on my research, there aren't any Ritalin capsules (of any dosage) that come close to this description. Where did you get the pill from? It sounds to me like an illicit, foreign, or fake tablet; for if it were real and US made, you would at least be able to Google it. However I'm not sure if other countries also make this brand of methylphenidate. Has anyone else come across this pill? ## Get a drug panel from CVS - one wth amphetamines. Add some of the powder & some luke warm water to see if it comes up as an amphetamine.

show all forms of ritalin pictures of different capsule shape ritalin? ## Since Ritalin is available as both a name brand and generic, there are far too many on the market for me to be able to post images and descriptions of all of them. For instance, the name brand Ritalin LA, which is capsule shaped has different markings, depending on the dosage, here's a description of those: Yellow, capsule shaped, marked with NVR R30, 30mgs. White, capsule shaped, marked with NVR R20, 20mgs. Brown, capsule shaped, marked with NVR R40, 40mgs. White/Brown, capsule shaped, marked with NVR R10, 10mgs. And that is just the name brand Ritalin LA. Are there any markings on the one you are questioning? If it doesn't match any of these, please post back and I will gladly check for you. ## This is a...

Is this actually generic Ritalin?? I have looked online everywhere and since there is no other imprint I've had no luck.. Please help! ## I'm sorry, but I haven't had any luck finding it any of the pill identifier databases that I've checked, either. Do you have any idea where it's from? Such as the U.S. or possibly from a foreign source? Does anyone else recognize this capsule? ## Im guessing they are from out of the country or something because they are my sisters and she all of a sudden got something completely different. She has also been told some new medications dont have manufacturer imprints on them anymore? So that would make sense but I've been searching high and low with no luck.. Literally just a clear capsule, white powder NOT beads, with an imprint ...

Hi, Can I open the Ritalin LA 20mg capsule and dissolve the little white balls in hot chocolate or coffee? My son just can't swallow the capsule. Your help would be much appreciated. Please reply. {edited for privacy}. ## Hello, Shelly! How are you? No, you can't dissolve them, because the LA means that this is a time released medication and doing so could cause him to get too much at once, which may result in a dangerous overdose. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, weight loss and insomnia. However, the medication guide does say that they can be sprinkled over something such as apple sauce and swallowed that way, so that should be fine, if his doctor approves. Is there anyth...

I think I recieved wrong prescription. It is a white capsule with a tiny half moon and 200 imprinted in black on both sides of capsule. What is it? ## ritalin ## Yes, this seems to be the Actavis logo and they do have one similar to this that contains 20mgs of Methylphenidate, the active ingredient in Ritalin, in an extended release formulation. What medication were you supposed to receive? ## They are supposed to make the person picking them up aware of any changes whatsoever. As long as this wasn't the first time filling it. So for them to not say anything and give you those, they can get in a lot of s***. Those are completely different than other adhd meds. Especially when you are told its 20mg and says 200? Anyone would be nervous about taking them.

The pill is small round and white with the letters sz on one side and the number 20 on the other. I was told it was a 2 mg clonazepam. I live in Canada so I assume it was manufactured here. Is there a definitive online guide to drug identification? ## No, unfortunately, there really isn't any definitive guide that lists everything, especially for various countries. Since this is from Canada, I can't be 100% certain, but I have found listings that identify this tablet as containing 20mgs of Methylphenidate, the active ingredient in Ritalin, which is used to treat conditions such as ADHD and Narcolepsy. Can anyone confirm this? ## I am prescribed them, yes it is 100% absolutely a Ritalin tablet. I guarentee you it is not a Clonazepam. If you are still unsure of this response, just...
