I am wondering if Xanax (a benzo-) is like Risperdal (a benzi-) and if the two are related in any way? ## HELL NO! be careful with this drug by now you have prob. had the side effect but the should go away when you stop takeing it ## ANY drug I'm prescribed that's a narcotic I take very sparingly, not very often, almost to the point of being paranoid. Usually, the only time I take Xanax is when I absolutely CANNOT sleep. Be careful! ## i have taken xanax for years n the dr put me on respridol are they the same ## NO!! One is anti-anxiety the other is anti-psychotic.
