Can someone cause somebody in the FDA to check out this Rhodes pharmaceutical company? If the potency can vary by up to 10 to 20% what does that tell you? They're not all the same. I have had Rhodes for two days and they're pure garbage I don't know why the pharmacy changed who's paying who off but these are absolutely terrible. ## You have to file a complaint with the FDA just like I did. The more complaints the faster they'll stop forcing this crap on us! Not sure how many other people take the time to file with the FDA but we need a lot more, I'm sure. They were giving me headaches, causing dizziness, and weren't touching my pain. ## This is what I found out on the Rhodes Pharm Percocets: The 5 mg, 10 mg, 15 mg, 20 mg and 30 mg tablets contain the equivale...

Why does Rhodes make different generic 8mg Dilaudid. I have had it round and now I have it with two P's on one side and an eight on the other side. And it's in a peculiar shape. I know they were bought out by Purdue. But why do you need different generic pills for the same exact strength??? ## Hello, Amber! How are you? Sometimes the company listed on your pharmacy bottle aren't the actual manufacturers, they are just licensed distributors. Thus, it is always best to go by the imprints, rather than the pharmacy label. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, constipation, and headache. What were the markings on the round ones?

So I've been taking these for 3 months now and they are not working well AT ALL!!! They're made by Rhodes pharmaceuticals. They are small light blue round pills with a 100 on them. Does anyone else have this problem or can anyone tell me what brand worked for them? I know EVERYONE reacts differently to meds but at this point I'm willing to try any other brand. Next month I'm going to ask my pharmacist to order me a different manufacturer. And by the way, MS CONTIN has SKYROCKETED up in price. I just paid $280.00 for 30 x 100mg pills (one a day) WTF!!! They used to be the cheapest med out there. I've read around and a few other people are saying the same thing so I hope it's not just me. ## Re: price, it looks like you're getting the actual brand filled. $280 ...

I take the Rhodes 10/325 percocet and they are better than actavis oh that don't help at all. Rhodes and Amneal I agree are weak compared to the old Watson's and Mallinckrodt, and Endocet, even Roxicet. What happened to those that did wonders I don't know. ## Hi Stevo, I think when it comes down to drug efficacy, we not only have to look at the active ingredients/dosages, but just as importantly, the binders and fillers which often change from manufacturer to manufacturer. So what happened to those drugs that did wonders? - Well, from my perspective drug companies probably did add various inert ingredients that somehow affect bioavailability or how well our body absorbs the "active" ingredients that are composed within all the fillers. It's hard to say if there i...

I have been getting my morphine from CVS for over 5 yrs. They will only get Rhodes mfg. generic. These pills are so bad some times my nose runs, I am in a with draw state. Every month its the same some thing. It seems like sometimes they have the right amount of morphine in them while most times Its as though I am taking nothing. Anyone else out there with this problem? I think some of these pills are bootleg. No way to prove it and CVS does not seem to care. ## Have you tried asking them if they can order in the ones made by a different manufacturer for you? They usually can, but you'll have to pay any price difference between it and the existing generic, because your insurance usually won't. Another alternative would be speaking to your doctor about trying a different medicati...

Yes I'd be very grateful if someone could help me ASAP. I'm a five-time cancer patient Survivor in about to go on hospice. I have a question regarding Rhodes Pharmacy that makes a white round pill with NP on one side and the other side 20. When I looked it up it said that it was oxycodone hydrochloride. It didn't say if it was instant release or extended release which I really need to know? The other question is if it's just like Roxicodone but just a different Pharmaceutical Company and if it's just 20 mg of oxycodone with no other active ingredients but normal fillers and stuff? I'd appreciate as many replies ASAP thank you so much! ## Were you referring to the tablet with the imprint RP 20? If so, yes, it contains 20mgs of Oxycodone, in an immediate release fo...

Hi, After 12 years of taking the blue 30's the pharmacy gave me these big white tabs. My question is why are the blue more potent than the white from Rhodes Pharm. Is it the quality of the ingredients? The brand Roxi you cant find anymore why is that? ## Generic medications are allowed to differ from the name brand in the amount of the active ingredients by as much as plus or minus 20% as decreed by the Hatch-Waxman Act of 1984. They also don't have to measure against each other, just the name brand, so some generics may be slightly stronger or weaker than another. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. The name brand is ...

Hello all, I've been issued Rhodes oxycodone 10/325 by CVS in Nashville and have had very bad reactions, some good reactions and sometimes no reactions at all from these pills. This is my first script of 120 pills and need some info on how to file a complaint to the FDA. I've taken these pills in the past (percodan, percocet) and never had to think twice whether or not they would ease my pain. With these I never know what I'm going to get. Sometimes I just feel awful with NO pain relief whatsoever. Sometimes they work fine and other times just barely. How can a company do business with such an unpredictable product? Needless to say I will be short, so add extreme anxiety as well. I've read others who share the same stories and believe me I feel for you. I've also mad...

If I find out that the supposed oxycodone I am taking is anything other than what it should be, I will be contacting a money hungry attorney for I shall be extremely wealthy. ## I have the same issue with RP 10/325 - I went into withdrawals and took the Med back to Walmart pharmacy and the pharmacist said he's "had no other complaints and couldn't do anything for me". I now have Activas A 333 and they are taking awhile to kick in and I am just praying these awful feelings go away. Please let me know if you found out anything. ## Have either of you considered getting the tablet's contents analyzed by a lab in order to determine how much oxycodone/acetaminophen is really in there v.s. what they put on the label? Part of me wonders if these drug companies might be skimp...

How are the 10mg oxycodone made by Rhodes Pharmaceuticals compared to other brands? ## Hi Shizz, According to NIH, the 10mg oxycodone tablets (that are white, round, & scored, with "R" over "P") made by Rhodes, contain the equivalent of 9 mg of free base oxycodone. Ref: dailymed.nlm.nih.gov/dailymed/drugInfo.cfm?setid=a5162476-1217-41c0-bc7e-0a0f123f069f So in terms of potency, it apparently doesn't contain what a 10mg Rx label says it does, which is really corrupt marketing in my opinion… Especially towards those who are switching from another brand that may have more or less (unknowingly setting the stage for withdrawal symptoms from tapering). I suppose they think the extra milligram will come in the form of placebo. Next, in terms of inactive ingredient...

I was just switched from the Mylan brand of Buprenorphine to the Rhodes brand. I haven’t taken any of the Rhodes brand yet. I have taken Mylan bupe for several years and totally love it. The only other bupe I have tried is the hi-tech and it made me extremely depressed and I couldn’t function at all, just felt so much anxiety and wanted to crawl in a hole! Who here has taken Rhodes and/or Mylan?? Any experience, please share! I have a couple days left of my Mylan and then I’m on to try the Rhodes. (This is only happening because Mylan brand got thrown on long term backorder and Mylan says they still have no update on when it will be back) ## Hello MommaMurph, Sorry to hear that the backlog of your Mylan brand is causing you so much trouble. I'm sorry to have to tel...

I seem to be having the same issue as some in this forum. I had been on another brand until this refill & well this Rhodes brand doesn't seem as effective. One of the main reasons I'm here, I thought it odd that I wasn't getting the same relief as the other brand. I'm going to contact my pharmacy and see if they can do anything, I may call my PM doctor as well to see if they have any suggestions. ## The last two months have been hard on me since Rite aid switched from really good working oxycodone 10/325 to this RHODES pharmacy GARBAGE and it’s not only that but all my meds aren’t working like they used to. I loved my old ones (oblong) Easily cut/snap in half. With this maker of these meds my eyes burn and water, nose constantly runs and I’m in so m...

How do I go back to MS Contin made by Rhodes? I don't like the results with my Mallinckrodt meds. Want to find way to get the Rhodes brand again. Worked better with less side effects. ## Hello, Mary! How are you? The only thing you can really do is speak to your pharmacist about it, they might be able to order the other one back in for you. Alternatively, you could go to other pharmacies in your area and ask which they carry. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?

I've tried and used Teva/Barr, Lannett, Core pharma, AURO (worst imo), and now just got Rhodes. Not sure if Rhodes is making me spacey, sleepy, anxious and low energy, bloated, headache. All are often indications that the active ingredients are meh. There are so many manufacturers out nowadays, it's a revolving door and it's adding to the already difficult challenges many people have experienced since the pandemic. Lordy. Rhodes? Anyone? ## How are you doing taking the product from Rhodes, now? Has there been any change? The FDA considers all generic medications to be therapeutically equivalent. They warn that Adderall carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, anorexia, mood changes, and anxiety. Ref: Adderall Informmatio...

I have been taking 10/325 for years and my pharmacy filled this one with Rhodes pharmaceutical product. I have been taking now for 3 days. I have been sick to my stomach, neck, and jaw pain and it does not relief the pain it is prescribed for. Why could this be? ## Neck and jaw pain can be an indication of serious heart problems. Please do not ignore these symptoms. ## Hi Susan, According to NIH, "severe stomach pain" is listed as a side effect of Acetaminophen; whereas they recommend contacting your doctor immediately. [Note: nausea and vomiting are also on the same list] - Just mentioning this in case it's attributing to your "sick to the stomach" feeling... As far as the neck & jaw pain is concerned, I haven't found any specific details suggesting that it...

I ran across these pain pills due to having severe chronic pain and after reading some of these comments i am shocked. I used to take the Watson brand of percocet and could not find another manufacturer that compared to them until i got the Rhodes brand. I would like to see other pharmacies carry them. I cant believe that im reading that ppl think they arent any good. I have one of the worst spinal problems in the world and stay in pain. Im thankful to have found this brand. ## Renee, It has nothing to do with the active ingredient oxycodone. Each generic drug differs in the binders used. Some folks are unable to tolerate these so the adverse effects stem more from that then the response to the oxycodone component ## To add some more information.... Under the Hatch-Waxman Act of 1984, ge...

I've been using Mylan Labs for about 3 1/2 years and now they're on back order indefinitely. I went to another drug store that carries Rhodes Buprenorphine 2mg Sublingual. No one else could get the Mylan Labs, so I tried Rhodes and at first, I had problems, but I had to get the Mylan get out of my system partially, but now it's just as good, if not better than Mylan. My question is, does anyone know if Rhodes is going to be on back order? I'm screwed if both pharma's are, because Hi-Tech/Akorn labs carry it, but they suck so bad! Thanks in advance! ## Hi it's hard to say if the new Rhodes will be on back order. I'm thinking knot. They are still fairly new a lot of Pharmacy's don't even know they exist. I have been receiving generic dilaudid 2 mg which were round white pills with M on one side and 2 on the other. I just filled my dilaudid which came from Med-Fast and the pill is a salmon-orange color with a P and a 2 on them, but nowhere does it say generic for dilaudid. After taking the first pill, I was very very itchy. Could this be a different generic drug? Oh, by the way there was a RED STICKER that said - DO NOT USE BEYOND 9/30/2016. I called the pharmacy and they said it is okay to take. I'm concerned. I have many allergies and with this dilaudid I was getting I did not have any side effects. ## Hello, Rose! How are you? Hi everybody! I've been on "Amneal" oxycodone HCL 20mg tabs (1 three times daily) for about three years, I just pick my prescription up today and it was "Rhodes" brand oxy's! Does anyone have any suggestions? ## It can vary from person to person. Have you tried it, yet? If so, how is it working for you? The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. ## Rhodes is the best brand of percs there are I think. I'm 69 & suddenly suffering from Neuropathic pain in shoulders, hips, & lower back which radiates into extremities. Cause and effect or coincidence? this all started right after a Prevnar 13 shot. I am in FL where MAJOR tightening on Pain Meds is being implemented. Costco sources through Mallinckrodt & Interpharm. Walmart, Publix, Sams use Rhodes. Rhodes does not give me the same level of pain relief and also leaves me feeling agitated and nervous/shaky. Costco Corp policy is also becoming very strict. Diagnosis codes from Prescribing Physicians is required and used to decide if they will fill or not fill. They also require over night wait before you can pick up a filled script. Going to explore where CVS sources and if they coerce you to moving all/additional scrip ther...
