I just lost my wife to Azor. She did not die but decided to leave me because i would not get her any more. She was taking about 20 to 30 a day.. Zopax, Azor, and a whole list of other anti-depressants will take your life away from you... You will get addicted to them. My advice is to stay away from it and make sure your loved ones do to...

What are the side effects of Coreg? Has anyone else here taken it? ## I have been taking Coreg for approximately 6 months. I have noticed that my vision has become quite blurry and my eyes are very dry in spite of using Gentel gel frequently. My physicians do not think it is from Coreg but they have no explanation for the change in vision and increased dry eyes. ## Coreg is used mainly to treat congestive heart failure. The most common side effects are: sleep disturbances, dizziness, nightmares and anxiety. You can read more about this medication here: That said, I did check several different resources and there is nothing listed about it causing dry eyes. Have you tried consulting an eye doctor to see if they might be able to narrow down a reason for it? Are you on any other medications?

Wymox (amoxicillin) is semisynthetic penicillin, an analog of ampicillin, with a broad spectrum of bactericidal activity against many gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms. Chemically, it is d-(-)-a-amino-p-hydroxybenzyl penicillin trihydrate. Has anyone else here tried this antibiotic? ## Wymox is a moderate-spectrum antibiotic active against a wide range of Gram-positive, and a limited range of Gram-negative organisms. It is usually the drug of choice within the class because it is better absorbed, following oral administration, than other beta-lactam antibiotics. ## Amoxicillin has been proven to be a very effective antibiotic, regardless of the brand name it is sold under. Common side effects may still include: nausea, drowsiness, skin rash and diarrhea. You can also learn ...

Does anyone have feedback or reviews from personal experience taking this pain/arthritis medication? ## This drug was discontinued in 1983. You can read more information about it at Drugs/Zomax.asp ## I was prescribed with Zomax and Flexeril together for back pain and it was one of the best weeks of my life until I had to stop taking them. I was in a constant "I don't care zone". It was great but I couldn't function. I really didn't care but I had a job so I had to come down. I don't think the cops liked me laughing at them either when stopped at stop lights (yeah, I was driving). Sorry to see it go. ## I took one Zomax pill back in early 80's for pain from a broken finger. Within minutes I started to feel strange and started to my room to lie down. Never mad...

What side effects, problems etc, has anyone encountered with this medication? ## Medications can effect everyone differently, some may experience a lot of side effects, while others may not experience any. Ambien contains the active ingredient Zolpidem, it is a short acting hypnotic, commonly used to treat insomnia. Some of the most commonly experienced side effects may include: nausea, hallucinations, delusions, amnesia and decreased libido. Is anyone familiar with the epilepsy medication aptiom and what are the reviews? ## Hi Nicole, From the looks of it, you seem to be the first person to post about this specific medication here on MedsChat. But in terms of reviews, the FDA approved Aptiom back in 2013 based on three large clinical trials, including over 1,400 people who've been living with partial-onset seizures. According to these studies, Aptiom reportedly demonstrated a statistically significant reduction (of up to 50% or more) in standardized seizure frequency from where patients were prior to treatment. This is compared to a 22% reduction in patients who received a placebo. Based on this information alone, Aptiom sounds like a viable treatment option in my opinion. However, one must also consider pros and cons w...

I noticed an immediate improvement in overall feelings of lethargy after starting on Axiron. My overall energy was restored and feelings of tiredness that I'd experienced for years were finally over. The only negative side effects are the increase of body hair. Noticeable increase in underarm hair growth, pubic hair growth and chest hair distribution. My stomach was smooth prior to Axiron, now it's hairy. Also, my whiskers/beard are more coarse since being on Axiron. ## Hello, Scott! How are you? I'm glad that it's working so well for you. Other side effects that you may experience, as listed by the FDA, may possibly include skin irritation, redness, rash, irritability and headache. Are there any questions or comments?

I have a bi-polar condition and was on seroquel for about 10 years with success. It started giving out this past summer & now my doctor put me on 80mg of geodon, 4 lithobid. I feel I am (in-between) bouncing off walls and my vision is screwed up. I don't think I can live this way. Any suggestions? ## I am also bipolar, was on seroquel for 3yrs. I just got switched to geodon myself about 3 weeks ago at 80mg a day. I feel the same bouncing around everywhere. Sounds like we need all the first hand understanding we can get. ## I was taking Seroquel also and my Dr. switched me to Geodon because she is trying to help me with my weight problem since being on all of these meds. and getting clean $ sober. I put on 80 lbs. that's depressing to think about with or without a chemical em...

I have herniated discs and sciatica. I was referred to a pain management doctor, who prescribed Lyrica. After reading all of these posts, and finding out the side effects, I'm not sure I want to take this medicine. Has anyone had good results with Lyrica, without these side effects? ## I have been using it for about7-8 months for nerve pain caused by intercostal neuritis and it has worked great for me. Of course I still get pain, but it is greatly reduced in both severity and frequency. The side affects are lethargy at first and forgetfullness, but it goes away in a few weeks and to me was definately worth the wait. Weight gain- I am so overweight to begin with and on so many things that can cause weight gain, it is hard to tell, but on a WW, I lose easily if I take it seriously. An...

I just started taking prozac and have been on it a week now, though I haven't seen or felt any difference yet. Does this medication make you gain weight? ## Hey, well actually prozac usually has no side effects and I've been on it for almost a month. When my doctor asked me what my eating habits are like I said "good" and I asked why, and he said just to make sure, but prozac usually wont make you hungry or not hungry so it might be something else. ## He is talking crap, I just started to take Prozac and it made me eat more too. I also had recovered and was off Diabetes meds and now I'm back on them cause of the Prozac too. So it made my reading high and the doctor told me it didn't. Prozac causes my blood pressure to go up too. ## Is anyone on this thread still ...

I am starting Rowasa tonight and want feedback from others that have used it. How do you hold it for 8 hours? ## When using Rowasa, I try to alter my diet a bit to reduce stool bulk and gas (less fiber, etc.). I also try to relax and have a BM as late in the evening as possible and use the Rowasa immediately before going to bed. This works well for me.

Has anyone used the new SUPREP kit before a colonoscopy? Would like any comments about taste, ease or side effects. Thanks! ## The Suprep kit contains sodium sulfate, magnesium sulfate and potassium sulfate, it is used for bowel preparation. It basically works as a laxative. I can't think that combo would taste very well, though I have never used it. The most common listed side effects are: cramping, nausea, vomiting and abdominal discomfort. Does anyone else have anything to add? ## Sulfates have a bitter taste, hence the development of PEG bowel cleansing products without sulfate such as Nulytely or Trilyte. Having said that, Suprep contains both Sucralose and flavoring agents, so it may not taste as bad as has been suggested. It still involves the ingestion of 3 quarts of water, ...

I would like to hear from people who have tried Tilade and can share their experience with it. ## I may not have any personal experience with Tilade (nedocromil), but I did want to share more information in the meantime if it helps anyone looking to start this medication: Nedocromil sodium is used to prevent wheezing, shortness of breath, and other breathing problems caused by asthma. It is administered by an inhaler under the brand name Tilade (although its effects in this form are said to be far less than those in albuterol or other well-known inhaler medications). I hope this helps!

There is an herbal supplement called M-Drive that claims to increase testosterone level, promote energy and improve exercise recovery times. I'm seeking information from clinical studies or personal experiences that either substantiates or diputes these claims. Does anyone have first hand experience using this supplement? ## As an herbal supplement, you are not going to find such studies on it. They are not required to undertake such testing, since they are not seeking approval from the FDA or other drug agencies and are selling the product over the counter. They can get away with their claims, as long as they have that little disclaimer on their site and on the package stating that it hasn't been evaluated by the FDA and is not actually intended to treat or cure anything, etc. ...

## I just started Abilify 2 months ago... what a trip it's been! At the beginning I started to hear voices, luckily they were my son and husband. (I called my shrink, no return call.) Then when I took a nap, I could hear them, I talked to them and saw them if I woke up quick. (I called my shrink, no return call.) I can't remember the easiest words during a conversation, and have to describe it. You know that round thing on your car that can pop, yeah tire! .... I'm calling to make an appointment to get my husband's, uh,um, TOOTH, ya, tooth pulled...as I am speaking with the Oral Surgeon's office. (Called my shrink, no return call.) Well this past weekend I was exausted. My husband, son's girlfriend and I took an hour drive to get some "new to us" furnitur...

I just started taking adempas and already i have so many side effects its making life hard i just want to talk to other people and get their take on it. ## I just started today and have only taken my first pill and feel loopy and tired. I'm concerned about getting to higher dosage if this is what the lowest dosage does to me. Have you been able to move up on dosage and did side effects get better? ## Hello, Krissybear! How are you doing? What types of side effects are you experiencing? It is highly likely that you're both dealing with a double whammy of sorts, both the side effects from starting a new medication, as well as your body adjusting to the lowering of your pulmonary hypertension. It is a sudden change to your heart, some of the pressure and workload is being taken off...

Has anyone had experience with belttix diet supplements? I would like to know if they work. ## They work really good and give me a nice mood and energy boost.... and they work as an appetite suppressant, however, they make your pupils big so you look like you're high. ## Remember, though, that supplements are not proven to help with any conditions and they can still react with prescription medications. Have you consulted your doctor? ## I have been taking belttix for about a month and a half and have lost a little more than 15 pounds. They work great, you don't feel hungry and when u eat u get full right away.
