No matter what I do I still have a strong vaginal odor I can't get rid of. I've been to doctors and I don't know what to do. What OTC remedies can I take to help me? ## Hello, Ashley! How are you? I am very sorry about the problem that you're having. What type of doctor did you see? And how would you describe the odor? You may have BV, which is a type of bacterial infection, it can be hard to diagnose, because it may not cause many symptoms and it can be hard to eradicate. Do you have any unusual discharge?

Drugs and their remedies ## (Just an educated guess) The chemical makeup of the drug and its ingredients contribute to how it affects your body. Essentially, one takes a drug to achieve a certain effect or remedy. The problem with many prescription drugs is that the chemical makeup and/or ingredients may conflict with other mechanisms, for lack of a better term and pose unwanted side effects. I would conclude that the molecular structure of the ingredients in the pill can bond with such an illness to fight it off. I am not an MD, so please do not take these statements as one-hundred percent facts, but an educated guess based on my previous studies. I do know however that natural drugs, such as pure essential oils (if you can call these drugs), have a similar chemical makeup to the human...

I've been on oxycodone 15mgs 4 times a day for about 4 months due to a pancreatic pseudocyst and multiple surgeries. My health has dramatically gotten better but I still suffer from scar tissue damage from all the surgeries and E.R.C.P's. I feel that i wont be needing the pain medicine any longer? So my question is what is the best method to stop the oxycodone without the terrible withdrawal? And are Benzodiazepines a good choice? If so, which ones work most effectively and how should i dose them? Plz help, because just the thought of stopping the oxycodone causes major anxiety and panic attacks. Also i no longer have a Dr. who prescribes narcotics or subutex\suboxone.. No doctor will consider giving me any habit forming substance. Please help with any and all suggestions, ty! #...

I've been on oxycodone 30 for years, now I have stopped 2 months ago, but in the process of withdrawal (it was hell). I went to the ER cause I looked like I was a losing it, flaring my arms because I couldn't sit still. Was clean for 2 weeks, then the pain came back and I fell back in. Now I am taking oxycodone again, and I want to stop, but hate these restless nights. I've been up for a week with no sleep and chills at night. What can I take to get off this medication? No suboxones, natural remedies are preferred. Please help. I'm also pregnant. ## Hi I knew something until you said you were pregnant. But once the baby’s born read about oxy withdrawals online. Start skipping a dose and take an Ondansetron and a half Bupranorphine You can get these from your doctor...

Just thought I'd post for those looking for a remedy without spending money on drugs: theamericanwriter.hubpages.com/hub/3-Tooth-Pain-Relief-Methods - Take the poll. ## Hey Mike, thanks for sharing this info! I always try my best to opt for natural remedies since they usually don't have the same risk factors as prescriptions do with regards to side effects. Clove oil and pure vanilla extract have done wonders for toothaches I've had in the past, eradicating the infection within days. However I haven't tried any of the options suggested in the link you posted, such as cayenne, baking soda & sea salt, or pepper & sea salt.. so I'll be sure to keep those in mind in the rare event that I experience a toothache again. Have you had success with any of those remedie...

I'm 70 years old with asthma. Where I'm staying there's pine trees starting to flower which makes it really hard to cough up phlegm from my chest at different times at night. I'm in Australia and my Dr is away on holiday. ## Just about every night I have to get out of bed and try to clear my throat. Does anyone know what I can do to make it easier to clear my throat? I've tried otc cough medicines and they don't seem to do anything. Any info would be really appreciated. There seems to be a mystique about the free book "Treasury of Underground Remedies" offer.. A 30 minute sales pitch on the 7 most dangerous drugs; only occasional specific names mentioned. Who is the Publisher? What is the C.V of the author (Rachel Linkie)? Interesting claims. However beware -the catch being they ask you for £49.50 upfront for copies of a natural remedy journal (refundable)!!! etc. ## I also sat through half hour of hype on understanding details would follow about 'free' copy of book, only to be asked for card details for payment of nearly £50 for a so called free book. How misleading, not to mention the frustration of sitting through large print 'snapshots' that lasted for at least twice as long as necessary. I realize a book this size...

Is losartan a statin? My blood pressure is high and they changed my pill from perindopril 4mg to losartan potassium 100 mg. Now my blood pressure is even higher and they have given me bendroflumethiazide 2.5mg. Can l take an herbal remedy such as co-q10? ## No, losartan is not a statin. It is an angiotensin II receptor antagonist drug used mainly to treat high blood pressure (hypertension). Among the benefits of taking CoQ10 supplements is helping to maintain healthy blood pressure levels that are already within the normal range. This should not be confused with the treatment of high blood pressure which falls outside of the “healthy blood pressure” category. While there is good evidence to support the use of CoQ10 in the treatment of high blood pressure, this should only be...

Home remedies for heartburn and indegestion? I have heartburn so bad and all stores are closed around me, I need to know some home remedies to help? ## Hello, Daina! How are you? Has it eased up, yet? A common household remedy is baking soda, the instructions for it are usually right on the box, when you buy it. If you get heartburn frequently, you should speak to your doctor about what you can do about it. You may need to take a medication for it, or change your eating habits to avoid triggers. There are some risks that can be associated with letting it continue, such as ulcers or esophageal cancer.

i have recently started taking simvastatin and i was curious if it would be all right to take over the counter cold remedy medice (alka seltzer cold relief) with this? i have a head cold and need relief from congestion. ## There are no interactions listed between the two, but you may wish to check with your doctor, or pharmacist to be certain. Alka Seltzer Plus Cold contains Aspirin, Chlorpheniramine and Phenylephrine and it may cause side effects, such as nausea, drowsiness, stomach irritation and blurred vision. Is there anything else I can help with?

Awesome share it is without doubt. My girlfriend has been looking for this info. ## I am not sure what post you were responding to, in the future to respond to a post, you should use the box directly underneath it that says: Post a reply to this topic. Otherwise, the posters don't get a notification that you posted a reply. And on the hairloss issues, since I don't know what was in the post you are referring to, another thing that people may want to look into is Biotin. A deficiency in it can cause some hairloss and supplementing it has been shown to help arrest it and to encourage hair regrowth. Are there any questions or comments?

I have stopped using Nexito 10 mg now, after taking them for almost 18 months [Age: 56 years - Male]. I was taking these tablets to overcome depression. Now I am OK. But after I started taking these tablets, my libido has stopped and I have no eagerness on the subject. I feel it is a side effect of the tablets. Please suggest a remedy, so that my private life is not hampered due to usage of this medicine. ## That can be a normal side effect of this medication, according to NIH reports, it can also cause nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and weight gain. If you've stopped taking it, things should improve, but it make take a month, or so. If it's still lacking, after that, it would be best to consult your doctor. Are you on any other medications?

I just need something to take the edge off my degenerative back disease and muscle skeletal pain/arthritis.... Please help me find an alternative to the doctor's pain medication. I think something very natural would work and I am open to anything. Thanks. ## There's really nothing guaranteed to work, going by FDA reports, though some people do seem to have good luck with some of them. What medication did your doctor prescribe? Was it an opiate? Are you on any other medications?

I have a friend who has run out of medication and is experiencing withdrawal. He will not have his prescribed medication for 4 or 5 days. I am looking for he remedies, etc. to help him get through his physical symptoms and discomfort he is experiencing. ## Hello Care Taker! How are you? There really isn't much that's going to help. When I went cold turkey off of narcotic pain management, I found that relaxing in a warm bath helped the symptoms more than anything else. If it's okay with his doctor for him to take it, Tylenol or Advil may help a little with the rebound pain and Benadryl or Bonine for the nausea. Side effects may include dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and stomach irritation. How did he end up running out?
