I am not a medical practioner - but realise that ANY medication taken ouitside of the manufacturers guidelines is dangerous. I have been suffering from hamstring pull in my left knee. It occured 5 months back while doing an exercise. Since then my knee hurts and becomes rigid making it difficult for me to sit for long, walk or even stand for more than 5-10min. I consulted an orthopedician who told me to go for physiotherepy for 6 weeks and prescribed some medicine as well. I did physiotherepy for two weeks but didn't feel any change so i left that.
