Always my periods are irregular but if i take regestrone for 3 days i get my periods. Writing on behalf of my mom..she has always has probs with period..has fibroids on the uterus. Was taking novelon pill for 1.5 to 2 months at a stretch..then started getting break out bleeding..new doc was consulted who suggested 2 regestrone pills. even after that she was having little spotting and clotting (very minimal) after which she informed the doc and had 3 pills. I am advised to take regestrone 5mg, 15 tabs 3 times a day for 5 days to regulate my periods. After how many days will I have my periods from the day I finish the course? I finished the course on Jan 18th and now it's Jan 28th. Do I still have to wait more days before checking? ## You period should start within 1 to 3 days of stopping the tablets.
