What is the purpose of the Nizer D tablet? Can it be taken by someone with asthma? Does it contain aspirin, sulfur or ibuprofen? ## Nizer D contains 100mgs of Nimesulide and 120mgs of Pseudoephedrine. This combines a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory with a decongestant. I see no warnings listed regarding the use of them in Asthma patients, however, this site is not medical professionals, so you should consult your doctor to be certain. ## Will it cause any harm if it is taken after it expires?

It is only available in the following dosage forms: 2.5/325, 5/325, 7.5/325, and 10/325 respectively. The amount of acetaminophen used to be 500mg and 600mg in the 7.5 and 10mg tablets, but due to recent reports regarding acetaminophen and increased liver toxicity, the amount as of Jan 2014 is now capped off at 325mgs. Could you possibly be thinking of another medication altogether?

I was prescibed 100mg/25HCTZ of Losartan. I have been taking 5mg/6.5HCTZ of Ziac. I was concerned that the Doc started me off with such a high dose of 100 mg of Losartan when the internet says the starting dose is 50mg. My BP went up hovering around 140/90 while on the Ziac. Any thoughts? ## Hi Charlie, I'm sure your doctor only prescribed what he thought would benefit you, however it is your body and if you are not comfortable with the dosage you should definitely speak with him. After use of 1 pill, eyes turn red and stay red for 2-3 days. No loss of sight or blurr. Is this a side effect of no concern? ## Hello, Wisely! How are you? Eye redness can be a side effect of Sildenafil, as listed by the FDA. You may also experience nausea, stuffy nose, priapism and low BP. However, the concern is that the redness lasted that long. Have you consulted your doctor? You may be having a slight allergic reaction to the medication, which means you shouldn't continue to take it, if that's the case. ## Thank you very much for the response. How long is it taking everyone to regain cognitive function after withdrawing from prescription benzodiazepines such as Valium and Clonazepam? It took me 2 years after I stopped taking clonazepam to have the neurotransmitters reconnect, to the point where I could problem solve again. (I am still not back to 100% brain function, as I am on Lyrica and that is causing horrible memory problems and a feeling of being emotionally disconnected). There is a great feed on this site on Lyrica and memory problems. The benzodiazepines even affected my eating habits, as I was a vegetarian for 30 years, and on clonazepam for nerve pain, I no longer could stand vegetables. This was better than the Valium...as I could not eat anything on that medication, and all I wanted to do was throw up if I smelled...
