Is that true that using redotex affect your thyroid? ## Redotex contains the active ingredient Phentermine, an appetite suppressant used to aid in weight loss. I see nothing listed about any effect on the thyroid. It can cause: nausea, insomnia, irritability and elevated blood pressure. Read more: ## If you are taking redotex and have a blood test for cholesterol levels and thyroid levels, will this medication cause either of these tests to read either higher or lower than normal? ## I love redotex and have been taking them since 2006. One thing I will say is they will affect your thyroid results if your dr draws blood but will not affect your thyroid results if you're not on the pill. I have been taking redotex since 3 months, and the first 2 weeks 1 start to loose weight, approximatly in this 3 months i have been lost arround 20-22 pounds, I am not experienced any side effect, It works to me very good!!! Just that i feel my mouth very dry and i have to be drinking water, but not another thing..I think that is different in each person. I weighed in at first at 180 and im 5'3 1/2 tall. So I started this medication on the third of last month. so far i lost only 5 pounds and like 4 inches of my waist. this medicine makes me feel dizzy, light headed. hot. cold. i get hot flashes. i throw up. every side effect possible i have had with these. im not sure if i would recommend them. yes they make you loose weight but everybody's body is different. Redotex really works while your on it but once you stop taking them, you'll start to gain the weight you lost, also feel depressed :( ## HI, Camila! Sorry about the problem you had after taking it. That is one of the hazards of relying on a medication to lose weight, there is often a rebound effect when you stop taking it. Additionally, Redotex is considered very dangerous, since the FDA found it to contain a number of questionable ingredients, such as benzodiazepines, diuretics, stimulants and laxatives. Ive been taking redotex for 3 weeks now my weight loss is amazing ive lost 17 lbs and have had no real side effects other than dry mouth but drinking water is vital. I have an implanon birth control inserted in me and dont have frequent menstraution cycles. But since taking the redotex my menstraution hasnt stopped some days its spotting other days its full on. This drug has very strange side effects for me. Worst part is I have actually gained weight. I am suspecting this is due to the bloating because I have been eating low cal and exercising. I wake up in a serious haze. I have taken 3 pills and am not continuing -sad because the drug is expensive. Has anyone taken Redotex lately and if so, what side effects have you experienced? I was taking Phentermine prescribed by the doctor, but my doctor died so I was not able to get them any longer. Started taking Phentermine from Mexico but was told Redotex was better. I am just afraid of the side effects of the medication. ## Actually, I'd suggest staying away from the Redotex, the FDA has actually issued an alert with customs to be on the lookout for them, if searching or checking anyone's luggage or vehicles, because it is one of several diet medications from Mexico that have been found to contain dangerous combinations of drugs. Their said to contain an unusual form of Pseudoephedrine, Atropine and possible several others, as well. The Phentermine is probably the safest option....

I started taking Redotex 2 days ago (today is the third day) Side effects so far are dry mouth and after I first take the pill I get really weird dizzy spells that freak me out a little - is that normal? I used to date a girl who started taking Redotex after stopping for a while. 2 weeks after that she wanted to combine it with Paxil, which is an antidepressant. On top of that she was already taking pills for thyroid problems. She used to say that if she didn't take the thyroid pills she would feel very tired. She would burst in tears out of nothing due to a side effect of Paxil. I'm still worried about her and I suggested her to excercise, however she refused. She would also get anxiety attacks. I have been taking Hydrocodone for my abdominal pain and also recently starting taking Redotex. Is it ok if I took the Hydrocodone and 1 or 2hrs later I take Redotex. I took Redotex about a year ago for a few months and lost a total of 60 pds. I stopped taking them around this time last summer as I pretty much hit my goal weight. I would periodically purchase a bottle and take them here and there over the last year- to no avail- they were NOT the NF as I continued to purchase from same seller.
