I found a pill when moving house, its a round, white, almost chalky pill with T1 on one side and what looks to be a symbol very similar to the libra star sign on the other side (2 parallel lines, one with a semi-circle coming out of one of the lines). Ok the dark red relatively large round tablet is coated with red, when split the inside is white. One side is scored the other imprinted with 225. Commonly Indian made, and the same look is also manufactured in Egypt.. Now my understanding, the high concentration as well as coating is supposed to make it time-release. After years of being treated with a progressively chronic debilitating cough I was prescribed Tramadol 50mg morning and night. Within hours the couph had gone totally. I have been on Tramadol 3 years I have had countless Chest xrays and blood tests all come back normail. My husband passed away last February he was only 38 years old. Originally from what had happened we assumed that he had a heart attack. The other day I received the autopsy report and according to it he had a toxic level of tramadol. My question is, how many tramadol at 50mg each would he have had to of taken to be toxic? He was also on lithium and Paxil and would the interactions with the other two medicines have raised the toxicity of the tramadol without him actually overdosing?
