brown stuff in it ## If there are not markings on it, it is going to be difficult to narrow down what this is. We can rule it out as being a U.S. prescription medication, since they are all required to have imprints to enable their identification. However, it could be an over the counter item or a foreign medication. Was it found in the U.S?

Its a sort of light redish maroon color with a few dark specks on each side. Theres no imprint, and i dont think it ever had an imprint at any point in time. ## If there are no markings, it is going to be difficult to determine what the tablet contains. We can rule it out as being a U.S. manufactured prescription medication, because they are all required to have markings of some type to enable their identification. It is more than likely an over the counter product, but there is also a small chance that it could be a foreign medication. Does anyone recognize this tablet?

I found an oblong pill with the imprint 51 on it. It's kind of like the marroonish color of an advil..I have done a Google search and can't seem to find any info. If anyone knows what this pill could be please let me know. Thank you. ## I've had several people ask about this tablet and I still can't find anything definitive on it. Thus, I am wondering if it may be something that is available over the counter, such medications are usually not listed in the FDA or NIH databases. The closest I've been able to find, so far, has P 51 on it and is a red gel cap that contains Decussate, which is used as a laxative and stool softener. It's typical side effects may include nausea, dizziness, bloating, abdominal cramping and diarrhea. Does anyone else recognize this pill? ...

Im trying to find out for sure myself, but have reason to believe thats what its for. ## It actually sounds like you might have found an Acetaminophen tablet, which is a generic for Tylenol, it is used to treat headaches, fever, and body aches. The one that is red with the Z marking is manufactured by Leiner Health Products and they list it as containing 500mgs of Acetaminophen. Red/gray pill. Oblong like capsule but not an actual capsule. It's broke in half with just the red side and very little of the gray side. The red side has imprint in black either the letter "O" or the number "0". Any ideas? ## Hi Scias, Unfortunately, since the entire pill isn't showing.. neither is the imprint which is vital to verifying the pill's identity. I found a number of red/grey capsules with an imprint including the letter O. One of the capsules I located is, Principen which contains (500 mg) of ampicillin. It is a red/grey capsule with the imprint BRISTOL 7993 (in black letters) on each side. Manufacturer: Bristol-Myers Squibb Ampicillin is closely related to amoxicillin, another type of penicillin, and both are used to treat urinary tract infectio...

what are little round red pills with no imprint on either side, no markings whatsoever? ## Looking for a 200mg little round red pill with no imprint on either side with the name starting with Fe......... ## If there are no markings, then it is impossible to positively identify, unless you would pay to have it lab tested. Angel it is possibly an Iron supplement tablet, the chemical abbreviation for Iron is FE. There are some supplemental tablets on the market that are red, used to have a bottle of them myself.

The pill has no imprint at all, is a dark red color (almost maroon), and is 1cm wide. I have found a couple on the floor of my closet and have no idea what they are or where they came from. ## I have the same question. I have someone taking several of these pills at one time along with a combination of other pills. I have no idea what this pill is and cant find it anywhere on the internet. It is a round/red speckled pill with no markings on it. ## Because this pill has no markings, it is going to be difficult to determine what this tablet contains, unless you would pay to have it lab tested, somewhere. If these are in fact prescription pills, It's highly unlikely that they are manufactured in the U.S, since there are no imprints. U.S. law requires that all prescription drugs have a ...

What is this pill? - Red, round with uppercase R on one side and 225 imprint on the other. Not scored. ## Two other related discussion threads here point to Tramadol being a match: 1) Red Pill 225 2) Red Pill Imprinted With 225 Post # 3 in the following thread surmises that a very similarly depicted pill is Tramadol 225mg slow-release: 3) Red Pill No Markings Scored I haven't been able to verify this finding myself, however, it is something to consider as a possibility. Have you thought about sending a pill to a lab for closer analysis? Or maybe getting a drug panel kit to see if opiates/opioids turn up in the results? ## Composition of Tapentadol Hcl “Tramadol” 125 mg and Carisoprodol “Soma” 100mg.

Does anyone know what a red round pill marked with 225 does? ## Tramadol ## If it works? Depends what you need it to work for. It’s a milder prescription pain med commonly known as tramadol - not to be confused with ultram as people who aren’t knowledgeable think they’re one in the same. They’re not. Tramadol is what you have and all patients respond differently to meds. One may get relief while another forgets they took it which is a sure sign it’s not strong enough. Depending where you’re from and who you ask tramadol is in the opiate family... again. Flipped flopped there in USA, but it’ll help mild pain if you’re not opiate tolerant - if you’re taking anything in the opioid family, say Vicodin or Oxycodone, tramadol won’t h...

Round red pill with beveled edge. Imprint, 'S44', is faded, but looks to have been originally white in color (kind of like the imprint on m&m's, i think ???) . Text is located on one side of pill only, the other side is blank. ## This is an over the counter cold remedy, it contains Guaifenesin and Phenylephrine. Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, dry mouth and dizziness. Is there anything else I can help you with? ## This was packaged in a Walgreen's brand Sleep Aid but the child proof cap seemed strange and the pill bottle had blue caplets on it! I found some red thick triagle shaped pill on one side its blank and on the other it's marked 100. What is it? ## Did u ever find out what this pill was? I found one too and I can't find any information on it either! ## I found one too. Did some research because it didn't come up in any pill identifiers. Turned out to be Caverta, a generic form of Viagra. ## Hello, Just to confirm, I have also identified the pill in the description as Caverta which contains the active ingredient Sildenafil. Sildenafil is used to relax muscles and increases blood flow to particular areas of the body. Sildenafil, under the name Viagra, is used to treat erectile dysfunction (impotence) in men. Another brand of sildenafil is Revatio, which is used to treat pulmonary arterial hypertension and imp...

Small oblong caplet white with red/pink speckles no imprint no opportunity to cut in half looks old. Found in deceased mother's medcine cabinent ## Because there's no markings, it is going to be difficult to determine what this tablet contains, unless you were to pay to have it lab tested, somewhere. U.S. law requires that all prescription drugs have a unique imprint on the tablets or capsules so the medication can be identified by manufacturer, substance and dosage. However, the way a pill looks is entirely up to the whit and whim of the company making it, so there are many, many pills on the market, both over the counter and prescription (and black market) that could meet that physical description. ## Looked like a pill my dad used in the 70s for weight loss ## There is a smal...

Circular Dark Red Pill with SS2 imprint on it ## There are a couple of posts asking about this marking and I have tried searching for it, several times, under several variations, for the past few days, but I can't located any identification on it. Do you have any other information about it? Was it found in the U.S. or elsewhere? Is the SS2 grouped together, are there spaces between them or are they on opposite sides? ## It is a stool softner ## My friends mom always prepares her cocktail of medicine before bed for her and my friend poops all the time!
