Hello, doc prescribed me lyrica 150 mg for burning, tingling and aching on my foot which started after a sprain ankle that happened 4,5 months ago. I didn't want to use it because of the serious side effects described, but I've been using it for a week now. To reduce side effect risk, I stopped taking my NSAID drug (acemetasin, voltaren (diklofenak sodium), Cycladol (Piroxicam), etodolac etc. My pain and burning sensation didn't lessen much and my foot swells sometimes. My question is if I can take NSAID drugs safely with Lyrica and which one is best to use in my condition? It's been almost 5 months and I've been taking NSAIDs most of this time. I am a 27 year old married woman. I was diagnosed as a case of hyper homocyctenine level. due to this i lost control of right hand. later within 3-4 days i got control with Ecosprin 375 mg. Taking Nuvigil 150 mg for 2 days, feeling awesome as compared to before - awake and productive all day. I still yawn like I'm tired all day but stay awake. Hi, I had sugar levels 250(fasting) and 302(pp) one month back. I started taking one tablet of Germer 1 in morning I tested my levels yesterday and are 81 fasting and 95 PP(I tested sugar level without taking medicine that day). I have taken Lyrica for over three years for serious Neuropathies (Level 10 pain...unable to leave my home or function at all) caused by undiagnosed B-12 and Vitamin D Deficiencies. I started at 150 mg twice a day; however, had to increase to three times a day to more fully deal with the pain. Eventually I reduced it back to twice a day as the pain was controlled (90%) and due to excessive daytime sleepiness. Lyrica saved my life. I am able to work full-time again and do. Most side effects disappeared over time EXCEPT losing word recall at times and weight gain (I diet all the time now). But it is ALL worth it to be nearly pain free... Nerve pain is unbearable. Could someone please advise me , as I have a BIG PROBLEM. I'm suffering from Central Pain SYNDROME following a severe STROKE in 2006 . I was tried on several drugs, but methadone @ 150mg daily is what I've been on for years, which totally destroyed my teeth . In November of 2015, I was told by Pain Management, that because of new federal guidelines that my MME-morphine equivalent MUST BE MUCH LOWER . They started reducing my daily level at that time .Now, 6 months later, I'm now at 20 mg, tomorrow, I go on 15 mg daily, after being on 20 for the last week. I am 50 years old. I have been patient of epilepsy since 20 yrs. I was taking Zeptol CR 400 mg & Topomac 50mg(thrice a day), total 1200 mg Zeptol and 150 mg Topomac per day. My seizures were in control after that. After 15 years i reduce the dose to total 200 mg Zeptol and 50 mg Topomac per day.From last 4 months I have started getting seizures again, and from 2 months my doctor changed the medicine to Oxetole 300 mg & Clobachem 5mg, twice a day. i am an focal epilepsy patient since last 20 years. i have tried Sodium valporate for six years, tegritol for 5 years, topirol for 2 years. Now having lamitor 250 mg daily + lobazam mg daily. siezurs are not regular and i dont unconsius any time... only some stars seen to me sometimes very strong and sometimes for very few seconds I remain in full sense.
