My father has been prescribed ecosprin 75 along with Dytor plus 10mg, prolomat XL and cardace 2.5 by a cardiologist. He is taking these combination for the past 6 years from 2009. Please suggest any alternate or reduced dosage. ## Hello, Devanara! How are you and your father? Given the fact that he is 92, I have to make a guess that his doctor is doing something right and it would be best to continue following their directions. I am using folitrax 20mg for soriatic artherities. My blood report on 22.05.12 shows the following results. SGOT / A S T 83 IU/L ; SGPT/ A L T 92 IU/L . Is the results indicated above ar due to use of above medicine. ## Of course definitely yes sir. its due to the over functioning of liver to detoxify and remove the folitrax content from your blood. please drink more and more water and completely stop or reduce the intake of coffee/tea and alcohol? just stop it. start green tea and protects your liver. sgot & SGPT are the characteristic enzymes in liver whose measure reflects the state of liver.

I know that Glycomet is used by diabetic patients. My wife has become fat unnecessarily. She is 92 kg, 38 years and has 158 cms height. She has thyroiditis and and her USG of Abdomen and Pelvis report shows that she has mild fatty liver and polycystic ovaries (3-4mm follicles). The doctor has suggested her to take glycomet r 500 twice a day. Is it OK if she takes glycomet r 500 to reduce her weight and have a baby? We are also planning to have a baby. Please kindly suggest us. ## She should take the medication as prescribed by her doctor. The NIH lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, diarrhea, and flatulence. Has she started taking it, yet? Has there been any change?
