A small round pink/light red pill with an italic capital S on one side and the number 62 on the other side. The pill is a chalky white on the inside and the coating scratches away. I'm thinking it may be some sort of painkiller? ## It is not listed in any of our prescription drug resources. While there is a chance that it is a very new tablet, it makes me suspect that it may be something available over the counter. There is also a chance that it could be a foreign medication. Can you provide anymore information? Was it found in the U.S. or elsewhere? ## It's a birth control pill called Seasonal (Levonorgestrel - ethinyl estradiol) ## No don't worry like that it's only a contraceptive pill!!

I found a round red pill with 544 embossed in it. Do you know what it is? ## This may be Walmart's Equate Stool Softener with Stimulant Laxative (compare to Peri-Colase). ## i found a tiny red pill that has [ ] an imprint on one side. does anyone know what it is? ## @Susan, Is there any chance that the pill you have says "S44" instead of "544"? If so, a round red pill with S44 is reportedly identified as Docusate sodium/senna docusate sodium (50 mg) + Sennosides (8.6 mg). This is a laxative used for treating constipation, as post #1 suggested. For verification, the product labeler/distributor is listed as McKesson and the pill itself carries a National Drug Code of 62011-0165. I hope this helps!

Red Round Pill Engraved With A R, got from a friend that said it was Tramadol 225mg, but havent been able to identify it. pls help i gonna eat it tomorrow TY!! =) ## Hi Robin, A R is a pretty vague imprint, and I definitely haven't found any matches that lead me to believe it's Tramadol. The only thing I've found that somewhat matches the imprint is Aricept (23 mg). It is a reddish brown pill with ARICEPT engraved into the front and 23 engraved into the back. Aricept belongs to the drug class cholinesterase inhibitors and used in the treatment of alzheimer's disease. Manufacturer: Eisai Inc. National Drug Code (NDC): 62856-0247 I'm guessing you may have already taken the pill (hopefully with no adverse reactions) seeing as you don't seem to know what it is. If yo...

Are cephalexin green and red capsules the same? ## The same as what, exactly? There is a green and red Cephalexin capsule that has the marking SQUIBB 181 on it and it contains 250mgs of Cephalexin. So, if you are asking about the dosage, then no, because it only contains half the dosage of the 500mg capsules. Cephalexin is an antibiotic and may cause side effects, such as: nausea, drowsiness, skin rash and diarrhea. ## Pill identity please. Could this be cephalexin 250 mg... It's a bright pink oval tablet with AT250 on one side and >> on the flip side. ## Diego - did you start another thread about this? Regardless, what you are describing appears to be Azithromycin 250 mg manufactured in Canada. This is also an antibiotic, but different than Cephalexin.

I am taking Incruse Ellipta 62.5mcg inhaler (1 puff by mouth per day). It makes me have red blood spots on both arms. I am allergic to milk. Could this have a milk-based inactive ingredient in it? ## Hi Faye - According to the manufacturer's prescribing information document (PDF - page 21), it states that the inactive ingredients are: - lactose monohydrate (contains milk proteins) - magnesium stearate Being allergic to milk, you could very well be having a reaction and should let you doctor know asap. Any rash / hives / swelling are all listed as more serious side effects. I hope this helps and best wishes!

round white pill with an 627 on one side and nothing on the other ## This is Tramadol 50mgs, a generic for Ultram. This is classified as a narcotic, however it was derived from a sythetic one in a failed attempt to reduce addiction and side effects. Thus they have a medication that acts like a basic anti-inflammatory, but carries the same side effects and addictive potential as an opiate. Some of the most common side effects include: nausea, vomiting, drowsiness and constipation.

on my blood test i have anote:Persisten reduction for 3 month in eGFR >/60ml/min/1.73 m2 defines ckd. My is >59ml/min/1.73. What is this mean? ## what does this mean in the blood results persistent reduction for 3 months or more in an eGFR 60 could mean there is protein in the urine, which can possibly signal kidney damage. This means your kidneys are allowing protein to be lost from the body. Only your doctor can really determine if there is a problem, sometimes these results can be caused by medications. Have you asked them about it?

my wife 62 yrs. have BP 180/90. uses catapress 150, twice a day. Now can we add this telma 20 and what are side effects please ## By grdually reducing the intake of allpathic medicine, you take the ayurvedic medicine of Mukta Vati, a very good medicine for BP, from Patanjali - the Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev. There the doctor will advise you how to stop the allopathic medicine, which has far reaching side effects. I have recently started Telma and feeling total weakness as if I have just recovered from Typhoid.

a round pill with AN 627 can it be used for pain if you a pancreas disease? ## Hi annie, Based on my research, there is consensus that tramadol is the most effective oral opioid analgesic for reducing pain in persons with chronic pancreatitis; however, tramadol is associated with gastrointestinal adverse effects. Because of that, I would just recommend clarifying with your doctor the 'risks vs benefits' before taking any. I hope this helps!

Now i am maintaining bp as 125/62-65 etc. In case i do not take medicine it increases to 140/90 approximately. Should I ask my dr to change the medicine or stop taking this medicine? Please advise me. ## You should not change your dosage, or stop taking it, without your doctor's approval. There is no actual cure for high blood pressure, it can only be controlled. The NIH lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination, and hypotension. How low was it falling? ## My BP is 130/60 and pulse rate is 97. THIS PILL HAS BEEN IN MY MED CABENT FOR LIKE 2 YEARS IS THERE A EXP TIME OR ARE THEY OK TO USE ## Hello, Joe! How are you> These contain 20mgs of Omeprazole, with is a proton pump inhibitor that's used to reduce the amount of acid produced by the stomach to treat or prevent conditions such as heartburn, GERD, ulcers and gastritis. That said, if it the bottle was opened 2 years, like an over the counter bottle or in a bottle that was dispensed by your pharmacy, then they expired one year from that time. They don't get dangerous, when expired, but they do begin to lose efficacy and it would be best to dispose of them and pick up a new supply. However, if they were still sealed in the original factory container, then are usually good for 3 to 4 years. Is there anything else I c...
