I am prescribed 16mg of suboxone films per day. Recently my baby was diagnosed with a red and yellow dye allergy. Seeing how the films are orange I'm assuming there must dye in them. I have cut things out of my diet in cycles to come to this conclusion. I was a chronic orange soda drinker and when it finally came to cutting that the rash my baby was getting went away for a couple days but now is back but milder, maybe because the only dye I'm consuming is frim my suboxone? I nurse her, which is safe to do on suboxone. But I'm jus wonderING about dye levels and if it's significant enough to pass to baby. I'll obv be talking to pediatrician soon but in the meantime... ## Hello, Samantha! How are you and your baby? Has a doctor confirmed the allergy? When it comes to th...

Can someone please help me find an 500mg amoxicillin that does not have blue or green dye in the capsule? I would also prefer any amoxicillin capsule that is not red or pink or yellow. I have problems with dyes. It was suggested to me that I call Poison Control and they told me that Duramed makes an amoxicillin that is clear and buff in color - this would be acceptable although, no dye is preferred. Can you get me 500 mg amoxicillin that has no dye or is clear and buff in color? I have a refillable Rx for 200 capsules. Thank you, *S* ## Teva pharmaceuticals makes some 500 mg amoxicillin caps & tabs that do not appear to have the dyes in them: ## Thanks a lot! *S* ## Are there any pictures of amoxicillin from the U.K?

I just want to know if Propoxy N/APAP 100-600 TAB TEV has codeine in it because I'm alergic to codeine! ## Does propo-n/apap 100-650 have red dye #3 in it? ## The ingredients in this medication were Acetaminophen and Propoxyphene, the name brand it was most commonly known under was Darvocet. Thus no, it did not ever contain Codeine, but I don't know about the red dye. It was a very mild narcotic analgesic. Anyone still looking for this medication or information on it, may notice that I am referencing it in the past tense and the reason for that is due to the fact that it has been removed from the market in the U.S., Canada and most other countries. Adverse event reports, as well as further safety testing found it to cause a high risk of dangerous cardiac events and fatal overdos...

Does anyone know of cough syrup with codeine and guaifenesin (like Cheratussin ac) that is either dye-free or does not have red dye #40? My father has an allergy to red dye #40... Thanks! ## What I'd suggest doing is going to a compounding pharmacy. They are specially prepared to handle such problems and mix up the needed medications in the dosages ordered, or without certain ingredients that someone may be allergic to. They may require confirmation of the allergy from his doctor and it is usually more expensive, but would be well worth it to avoid an allergic reaction. Learn more Guaifenesin details here and you can learn more Codeine details here. I have been taking the Blue oblong tab 180mg from Mylan, I think, for years with no problem (for chronic migraine relief). One time, some years ago, I received a brown tablet and took it back because it did not work and I got a terrible 3 day long migraine attack. I did some research and found out it was because of the dye in it making it brown. So my pharmacist got me the Blue ones and kept them in stock for me. I have moved and recently filled them via mail order pharmacy and they arrived yesterday....brown from Glenmark. Why do the brown ones make me sick and the blue ones work for me just fine? I will need to call the mail order pharmacy and see what I can do about sending these back and getting them filled at a local pharmacy in hopes of getting the blue ones. ## The best thing to ...
