Sir, I am a first time user of this medicine. before i was using metformin 1 gm two times. Now i am advised to reclide 60 twice in a day. my fasting sugar was around 120 and after 1 1/2 hrs it was 170. also protine leak in urine raised sudenly. so doctor changed, the medecine from metformin to reclide xr 60. other medicines i am using are cardace 5 mg twice, amlopress 5 mg at night and modlip asg 75 at night is it ok to take reclide xr 60 with these medicines . my 3 month average is around 6.7. will the new medicine may cause any side effects. i need ur advice ## For the best outcome, you should always take medications as prescribed by your doctor. I have also takes PIOZ mf 15 is there any side effect now I am problem of skin rashes for that I am taking cetzine ## But our daibtic is not control but why ## Do you also watch you diet to be careful not to take in too much sugar and fats? Do you make sure you get enough exercise each day? The NIH lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, flatulence, stomach pain, and hypoglycemia. Dr has recently prescribed reclide xr 60 for my mother, earlier she was using Mclazide M, i want to what is the difference between these two? ## To answer your question, Reclide tablets contain the active ingredient Gliclazide extended release. The difference is that Mclazide-M is not extended release, and it contains the active ingredient Gliclazide (80mg) as well as Metformin (500mg), for increased efficacy. So while both medications are antidiabetic agents, one lasts longer and the other is stronger. Can it b broken into half n consumed ## inspite of taking gluconorm G2 forte tablets 2 times a day along with Reclide xr 60 last 6 months but blood sugar still at higher side, fasting reading is 245 & pp is 386.should i change other medicine if so plz. advise the medicine which will bring down my sugar level. my age is 60, female

I'm daibtic pecents near about 8year our Dr, prescribe reclide xr 60 +jalra50/1000 one time and one time insulatard100penfil 18unit within 2 year continue but our daibtic will be not controlled please sudjest me.
