I'm very sorry that you're in pain. Antibiotics can cause that in some people that take them, as a side effect. As listed by the FDA, you may also experience nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea. However, side effects usually improve after a few weeks, once your body gets used to a medication. Have you consulted your doctor? It would be best to have this checked out to make sure there is nothing else going on and to possibly get help for the pain. ## Why the rest of your life? After a single AFib event, I was put on Eliquis. I almost immediately developed severe shoulder pain in both shoulders, so doctor changed to Xarelto. Same problem. I am not currently taking a blood thinner, only a daily aspirin, because of the side effects. One shoulder returned to normal, but the other one continues to hurt. Had never had any problem with shoulder pain before taking these medications. ## Is Aspirin the only medication you are currently taking? The FDA warns that it may cause side effects, such as nausea, increased risk of bleeding, stomach irritation, and headache. ## Yes, the only blood thinner. Take a baby aspirin.

I understand that there are many side effects of Eliquis. My 41 year old husband has been on Pradaxa in the past and had severe side effects. I wish to know the reason for this and what is the remedy? ## No one is going to be able to give you a definitive answer just from a post on the Internet. I took 30 mg a day from3 weeks, then dropped it to 20 mg per day. About 6 days after dropping to 20 mg, I started to get pain in joints, primarily hands, feet, knees, elbows, etc. I am being treated for PE's. My rheumatologist tested me for all connective tissue orders which were all negative. I am suffering and only take Tylenol for pain, which is not too helpful. I was on viibryd for a year and a half. Soon after starting the medication (40 mg) I started having aches and pains in my joints but I didn't think anything of it because I had recently had ankle surgery and attributed some of the discomfort from that. As the pain in my joints spread I became more concerned as I have Crohn's disease and there is arthritis that is related to Crohn's disease. So as the pain and inflammation increased I went to see my GI DR. and he felt it was Crohn's Arthritis and started me on Humira. Well this didn't help and the joint pain and inflammation continued to progressively get worse. So I was referred by my primary to a Rheumotologist and was started on heavy doses of Prednisone still with the diagnosis of Crohn's arthritis. This bring...

I have severe joint pain throughout my body. It has been extremely severe these past few months. Unable to drive on bad days. Barely able to walk. Milder attacks allow me to drive and walk w/ a cane due to herniated and broken lower disks. My PM doc has put me on 200mg Nucynta ER 2x daily and 100 mg Nucynta for break through pain. Most recently they put me on 30mg Morphine ER which did not seem any better than Nucynta. Does anyone have any idea why every joint in my body would become so painful as to immobilize me? On bad attacks the Nucynta 200mg ER, 100mg for break through pain and 150mg Lyrica barely make a dent in the pain. Besides weight gain, I now have diabetes as I have been taking Nucynta, Lyrica for over 6 years but the 200mg ER was recently added and I was removed from the Nu...

I am a 16 year old girl who was diagnosed with a severe vitamin D deficiency last year followed by hypermobility syndrome. For the last few days, I was having pain and a grinding sensation in my right jaw, when I consulted a doctor he said that it was because my collagen is not as strong as it was before and recommended me cartigen plus and gave me a tooth mask made of plastic . After a few days, I have noticed that I am getting the same grinding sensation in my articular capsules ( upper vertebraes of spine). I am very scared because it is spine related. Is cartigen plus going to take care of this or should I be concerned?

I am so scared from what I read... I just wanna know if my knee and elbow pain will be permenant or it will takes sometime to go... please HELP ... ## Have you consulted your doctor? They are really the only person qualified to help you discover what is causing the joint pain and, if it is from the medication, if any permanent damage has been done. There is really no way for anyone to tell you that just based on the limited information in your post. What were you taking the Cipro for?
