The minimum RDA for fiber is 35g a day, but in my opinion, double or triple that may be very beneficial to you. I personally eat around 70g of fiber a day from fruits such as figs, bananas, dates, mangos, oranges, etc. I would not recommend jumping to this number over night, but gradually increasing your fruit intake should help a lot. It's also very important that if you follow this, you should only have fruit by itself and with no other type of food other than more fruit.
