effects side signoflam

i am 66 yrs .i have pain around my shoulder near armpit transmitting to left side of chest .my doctor says it is muscular pain and advised signoflam bd and ratidine for two weeks .my querry is if it is safe to take for 2 weeks or sos basis ## The Ranitidine is a proton pump inhibitor, which helps reduce the amount of acid produced by the stomach.
