But they dnt disapear. When will the rashes disapear and will they disappear forever. ## Hello, Thessia! I am sorry about the problem you're experiencing. Can you please post back and describe the rash in more detail? According to NIH studies, there is a chance that it might be unrelated to the medication, the rash could be caused by some other issue. Have you experienced such a rash, before? Are you on any other medications? Are you engaging in intercourse?

i m suffering from skin rashes and itching in palms and foots ends due to dose of zoxan how to cure it?? ## Hello, Lavleen! How are you doing? If that's the extent of the allergic reaction you had to the medication, then it's most likely just going to take some time to clear up on its own. But have you consulted your doctor to make sure that's what has caused it? If it's due to some other medical issue, treatment might be required.

I have been using allopurin for about 12 months now as a gout relief treatment. I have noted that I have been getting outbreaks of rashes - brownish red spots, slightly raised which develop into dry, flaky skins patches - concentrated around the lower back, and upper buttock. This has become concerning now as they have now spread to the legs as well as under the arms. My wife says it is the Puricos (allopurin) and thinks I must discontinue. Any comment or view ## Have you consulted your doctor? It is rare, but Allopurinol can cause a rash, in some people and, when it does, they usually do have to discontinue use of it. I have been suffering from this from two to three months only and never had this issue before. I also had severe achne issue on my face with swelling and puss formation. This has improved a lot after going through antibiotics medica...

i just started taking depo shot along with sulfamethoxazole and now i cant tell which one is giving me hypersensitivity to light, the slightest hint of sun makes me.break out in instant hives...i was told to decide which one to go off of to find out the cause..:( ive already broken out with skin rashes on the loestrin pill and infections with nuvaring.i always get uti so i hope its the bc over my sulfamethoxazole. ## If it were me, I would look at the antibiotic as being the most likely culprit. This one is very well known to cause a lot of problematic side effects in many people that take it. Learn more Bactrim details here. And they are also known to usually get worse, with continued treatment, so most people end up having to stop the medication. Are you taking it for a UTI?

I am getting rashes on my forehead due to hair colour treatment, though I use ammonia free colours. Way back in 2009 I developed severe allergies through hair colour treatments and was advised to take zemfred 4 for 3 days along with some antibiotics. I was surprised to see the results. Post the treatment I started with ammonia free hair colour as advised and was happy till date but now even the safest colours do not suit. Whenever I go for hair colour and get a rash. I usually take 1 zemfred 4 during the day and half next day, which gives me lot of comfort. Please tell me what are the side effects I am going to face if it is used once in a month only after coloring my hair? Is it advisable to use it like this? ## Hello, Jaya! How are you? Side effects please....rashes? ## Hello, Okiemo! How are you? This tablet contains 30mgs of Dextromethorphan and 600mgs of Guaifenesin, it is a cold remedy called Guaifenex DM. What type of rash? Is it just a rash, or is it more like hives that are itchy? It could be an allergic reaction to this medication and you should see your doctor about it, in case it needs treatment.

IS THIS THE REACTION OF MEDICATION, IF SO HOW TO CURE IT OR IT WILL VANISHES WITHOUT TREATMENT AFTER SOME DAYS. THANKS ## Hi, Ram! Sorry you developed an allergic reaction, I know those are miserable. And yes, if you're finished with your course of treatment, then it should go away on its own, but it may take a week or so. It's really up to you and how bad it is, if the itching is severe and causing you problems, you may want to consult your doctor to see what you can use to help treat it. But otherwise, as long as there are no danger signs, such as problems brea...

I'm on the sulfameth/trimethop medication right now for the treatment of mild ancne. Why should I avoid sunlight? I went to a tenning bed and had no changes. ## this medicine can give you a headache because it makes you more sensitive to light. ## What may happen if combined with caffeine? ## It can make you heat/light sensitive, which could result in your burning, much sooner than usual, you could also develop sun poisoning, skin rashes, and etc. Sulfamethoxazole with Trimethoprim can also cause elevated heart rate, and nervousness, as side effects, so combining it with caffeine could worsen those issues. Other side effects may include nausea, diarrhea, and headache. Is there anything I can help with?

My friend has Aids and have been taking Bactrim for a long period of time. I read some side effects of Bactrim and he has all of them. aching joints, swelling, nausea, rashes sometimes. In a lot of pain. I was wondering what he could take in place of Bactrim to see if his condition improves. ## Hi Darryl, sorry to hear about your friend. That's kind of tough because I am assuming that he's been taking the Bactrim in order to prevent pneumonia? Sounds like he needs to be on a preventative treatment but this particular antibiotic can be pretty tough on the body. While there are other antibiotics out there which are generally tolerated better, they may not be a good fit based on his condition and needs. Has his doctor been notified about these side effects? Perhaps they could work ...

A compounded white cream prescribed for relief from itching / skin rashes ## Why would my dermatologist prescribe this when I don't itch? He says I have Schamburg's Purpura. May or may not go away. Wouldn't an oral treatment such as Trental (pentoxifylline) be quicker in aiding the purpura? ## Well, what would work best for your condition is something that only your doctor can evaluate and decide. As to this topical treatment, it does treat much more than just the itching. It helps relieve swelling, redness, itching, and many other skin problems. Hey everyone. I hope that someone can give me some direction. I've been an addict for about 17 years. Long story short, I started purchasing Suboxone until I could get in treatment. I discovered that my body cant tolerate naloxone. Bad things happen! LOL. Rashes, headaches, and my breathing became very labored. That scared me. I came across the Subutex-which has no naloxone. I took those, and I was fine. I just cannot find anyone to prescribe me the Subutex since i've moved from my old location. I live in Eastern Ohio. My job puts me all over the state. So, i'd be content with a reasonably priced provider/doctor/psychiatrist/md/clinic ANYWHERE in the state of Ohio. If any of you can help me I would be deeply grateful. I hate to say this, but I feel hopeless & almost like...

I took this med for 2 days and stopped it. I had broken out with a very red rash on my leg and didn't get any new meds for my cold. Is there a problem stopping? ## Sorry to hear about your experience with Amoxicillin. Rashes seem to be a common side effect (or allergy) with these types of medications, but I would definitely still urge you to contact your doctor as soon as possible to let him know what's going on. There's only one potential problem I see with stopping an antibiotic before your treatment is up; and that is the development of "drug resistant bacteria", if the infection wasn't wiped out completely from the start. Your doctor may end up putting you on something stronger if that happens to be the case, but then again I'd probably stop taking it too...

I was taken B12 shots, now My B12 level is 1387, is there a side effects, how can I lower it, or it should go down by itself. I experienced some few rash in my hand. Please advise. ## Hi Bebo, From what I understand, rashes are recognized as a common side effect/allergic reaction to the B12 shot. I don't know if something like this would require immediate medical attention, but if you have any reservations about continuing treatment due to the presence of these rashes, that seems to me like a good reason to get in touch with your doctor, since additional applications may exacerbate these types of conditions. Were the B12 shots prescribed to you or are you just taking them on your own account? I've never heard of anyone experiencing complications from lowering/stopping B12 treatm...

Just finished Macrobid after two weeks I have rashes all over my legs and back. Should I take Benadryl ? The rashes are painful, my joints hurt so much (I have RA)but my joints are very painful. Ive been running a low grade fever for the past three days and feel like I have the flu. Any ideas? Good News uti is gone lol! ## Rashes caused by an antibiotic should not be painful, they may itch if you're allergic to it, but they shouldn't hurt. Have you had this checked out by your doctor? I'm concerned that you may be having some type of bad reaction, there are several possibilities listed by the FDA and all require prompt medical treatment. The joint pain can be a normal side effect and should go away within a week or so, or at least return to your normal level, since you have ...
