Hi, I was prescribed clindamycin 300mg for dental abscess and percocet 5-325mg tab, but I can't keep any food down. I was going to drink an extra strength Alka Seltzer to see if it would help with the upset stomach. Is this OK to mix? It is the antacid tabs diluted in 4oz water. Thanks ## Hello, Jen! How are you? My dentist prescribed 500 mg penicillin vk before a tooth procedure. I am also on 7.5 - 325 percocets twice daily for chronic cervical pain. Can I safely take these together? Can I take half of my prescribed 30mg Percocet dose if it is my first time taking this medication? I had a HORRIBLE reaction to percocet. Vommiting, rash, itching. It made me feel so awful. I felt horribly sick! I even tried taking it with benadryl like the doctor said. No difference at all. Does anybody know of any pain meds that don't contain Morphine? I had been taking the max dose of 2 10mg lortab every 4hrs and it gave me little or no pain relief at all, wich was the reason for switching me to 1 10/325mg percocet every 4hrs. I have arthritis in my lower back and my L3&L4 discs are buldging & my L5 discs is completly blown. From this it affects my ciatic nerve causing drop foot and severe pain in my left foot & leg. my mom was taking qualitest generic percocet for severe leg pain. recent script from cvs was labeled mallinkot . she became very nauseated with loss of appetite and a rash with large blotches and itching over face and body after taking the percocet over several days with no pain relief.. I knew the actavis brand is no good but did not put things together as her bottle said differently. Her face was swollen and eye swollen shut and red . she did not think the only new thing she was taking was her percocet. I looked at the bottle again and the description did not match the pill. So I was put on ciprofloxacin 2 times a day and am currently taking 10/325 percocets. I read somewhere that it is a major interaction between the two. Is there anyway maybe I can take them hrs apart? ## The only interaction I've been able to find is that Ciprofloxacin can increase the effectiveness of the Oxycodone. This doesn't mean they can't be taken together, just that your doctor should carefully consider your dosage and they should be monitoring you regularly to keep an eye on you, in case any problems arise. I will try to make this as short as possible. I have been suffering with Chronic Pain to my right shoulder since 2005. I fell on black ice, dislocated the shoulder, broke the humerus head and cracked the bone in the socket. 3 surgeries later I'm still suffering with the pain. Since the injury I've been on Lortab 10/500. Started out with 4 per day, I'm at 7 per day and cannot go higher due to the Tylenol. My pain management doctor's PA switched me to 5 Lortab per day with 2-15mg Morphine Sulfate ER. I took the Morphine at 6:10pm, by 7pm, I broke out in a rash, have a migraine, can't stop sweating, my throat and ears itch, I've become short tempered.
