I am also rapidly gaining weight and have several more weeks to go on Durezol. 8 lbs in the first 9 days. Does it stop or just keep going up? How long did it take you to lose it? ## Hello, Liberty! How are you? Since this is a topical steroid that's just placed into the eye, you don't usually absorb enough of it to cause weight gain and the FDA doesn't list it as a known side effect of the ophthalmic solution, those typical include eye redness, trouble seeing at night, blurred vision and dry eyes. I'm not saying it's impossible, but rather that it hasn't been known to happen, so far. Have you consulted your doctor? Are you on any other medications? ## Doctor did call back today and said it's not happening. My scale and I know it is. No other drugs. No suddenl...

Raplon Rapacuronium

Rapacuronium bromide (brand name Raplon) is a rapidly acting, non-depolarizing aminosteroid neuromuscular blocker formerly used in modern anaesthesia, to aid and enable endotracheal intubation, which is often necessary to assist in the controlled ventilation of unconscious patients during surgery and sometimes in intensive care. As a non-depolarizing agent it did not cause initial stimulation of muscles before weakening them. Due to risk of fatal bronchospasm it was withdrawn from the United ...

I have rapidly failing health, Graves Disease, Hyperthyroidism, low blood pressure which causes me to faint often, severe back and neck pain, from an accident in 2010, when I rolled my car 4 times... This is when my migraines became nearly unbearable to the point of vomiting from the pain. My health, and broken body prevent me from being able to work, and I'm only 39 years old! I have a sweet little toddler, turns 2 in August, and it seems that since my pregnancy my health started as a snowball, now I have an avalanche burying me. Can someone please tell me how, if possible, to start pain management with Norco 1000 mg's? Need help, can't eat, sleep, drive, exercise - I am in too much pain to participate in my own life. It's heartbreaking. ## Hello, Karen! How are you? Th...

I have SPMS that is rapidly progressing. I was so hoping for positive results from Ampyra, but it actually made me worse because of my balance--or lack thereof. I'd forgotten that was a side effect. I have a bladder infection now so my neurologist told me to stop taking it. It didn't do anything for my spasticity either but instead of drawing my legs up, they extend straight out and I can't bend them. I was so disappointed that Ampyra hasn't worked for me and happy for those it has. ## I am very sorry to read this, it would have been great if it worked for you. However, like any medication, it does help some and not others, they just don't work for everyone. Has your doctor suggested an alternative? ## I have had psms for 32 years. I still work but use a walker at wo...

what are the functions and side effects?? does it gains weight rapidly?? ## Are you referring to Neurobion? If so, it is nothing more than a B Complex vitamin supplement, so the only way it will help with weight gain is if you're being small was caused by a deficiency in one or more of the vital nutrients it contains. Learn more: ## I am 19 years old and having pain on right side (shoulder, elbow and back body). It's not very hurts but if I do some works and if I do not lie down myself and get rest after 2 hours approximately, it will be really hurts. sometimes the pain spread to my right leg. As the U.S. population rapidly ages, I believe that a tablet's size must be made manageable for increasing numbers of us with arthritis, back and neck problems, myopia, shaky hands, etc. Miniscule pills dropped and lost on household floors require one to stop everything and crawl on hands and knees with reading glasses and a flashlight to find every last sucker --or better still, immediate vacuuming, as they are a lethal menace to infants and pets if left. I was dispensed generic clonidine HCl, 0.1 mg, manufactured by Actavis. This tablet's size is so maddeningly tiny that it's nearly impossible to shake just one from the container and get it into my mouth without dropping it or several more on the floor. Ironically, this med is commonly prescribed for nerve-related motor dy...

I believe seniors WILL get Dementia more rapidly by not being able to keep their teeth clean, etc. We must have Medicare and Medi - Cal put this back in their insurances as seniors need help with their teeth just as much as a child does. This is not right or fair. Do you know the paid a senior can also go through? I think you should see that this comes to an end before we are all Hitler's. ## Proper hygiene is certainly a top priority for most human beings these days. Not to come off blunt, but I believe preventative measures for good health are more important than treatment options for those who choose not to take care of themselves (i.e. not brushing their teeth, showering, etc). What ever happened to eating your fruits and vegetables, exercising daily, meditating, & socializi...

Please consider that things in the medical profession are changing rapidly. There are a lot of reasons. You have to become your own care-giver. You have to investigate fully your medications, and constantly ask questions. One person who you might not have thought of is your pharmacist. Get to know him well. He'll be on your side. I have a BS in psych specializing in addictions, but I can't help as much as I'd like to. Unfortunately, there is a lot of greed going around. Just in case you believe in God, don't forget He's with you.

I'm a 37 year old man in outback australia. In 2012 my gp prescribed me cymbalta. 30mg then 60 and rapidly up to 120mg daily. Towards the end of last year I was suffering withdrawals earlier and earlier every day from the drug which worried me a lot. So in November last year I began to wean off them, by bead counting. Where I filled my medication each 60mg capsule contained 12 beads. So I dropped one bead, then after a length of time when I felt ok I'd drop another. Currently as of today I'm on 8 beads (down from 24) which equates to 40mg. I should mention I took cymbalta in the first place due to a crippling anxiety period I had. My psychiatrist has said that once we get to 30 I can cross to Prozac. It has taken a long long time to get here and the side effects from the pro...

I have gradually gained weight since starting .25 mg of Mirapex about 4 years ago. I have rapidly gained weight since my dosage was increased by my doctor two years ago (increased to .75). Total weight gain of 40 pounds. I am not going to take this drug anymore and plan to use alternative remedies. Will I begin to lose weight when the Mirapex is completely out of my system? ## Hello, SandraD! How are you? This medication has been known to cause weight gain, according to FDA reports, as well as nausea, fever, vertigo, mania, and abnormal dreams. But yes, typically these issues go away, once someone stops taking the given medication, but that may take 6 to 8 weeks. What condition was being treated with this medication? ## Thanks for your reply. I was taking it for Restless Leg Syndrome. S...

I was diagnosed with Prostate cancer in 2001. I had radiation treatment 4 years later. Last summer my psa begin to rise rapidly. I was put on casodex & then 3 weeks later I had a lupron shot. I have not had a shot since & I continue to take 50 mg of casodex daily. My psa has stayed down for 4 months. My next blood test is April 7. Is it a bad idea to just stay on Casodex? I had hot flashes when I had the Lupron shot. I am not having hot flashes when only on Casodex. If my psa does not go up, I would like to just stay on Casodex. If my psa begins to rise I believe my Doctor plans to give me another Lupron shot. Does this seem like a good possible approach to my situation?

Neighbor died in hospital on Sunday after surgery was performed to find out what was causing the large patches of purple rapidly spreading up his leg around botocs. After reading about this infection I ask how did this hospital not know it was the flesh eating bacteria infection and started treating him immediately for it. His heart rate was very low before they took him into surgery. He survived surgery to which surgeon told wife after opening him up they then realized what it was. His heart stopped and they couldn't resusitate him. IMO the doctors, nurses and surgeon completely failed him. Any opinions would be welcomed. Also read it can be contagious and family should have been checked. Is this true? ## You're missing a lot of details here. What type was it? That is, perhaps,...

coming off panafcort ## Hello, Darrell! How are you? This contains the active ingredient Prednisone and withdrawing too rapidly could create some risks, such as adrenal issues.
