My mother is taking Rantac every day and she also take Medicines for her BP and Diabetes. Is there any side effects for her taking Rantac along with her other medicines? pls advice. She take Rantac since she has constipation problem and Gastric problem also. Is you advice that she can take this Rantac, pls advice when is the safe time to take it, either in the morning, afternoon or before bed time in the night. ## What other medications does she take? I have myopathy (muscular dystrophy as said in muscle biopsy) but all types of deseases known to be present under MD are excluded (overruled). Does Rantac have any effect on myopathy in general or in respect to MD? ## I 've got leg muscle spasm after taking Rantac. Even stop taking, the hurt remains, i m using a cane to aid walking. Secondly, I was adviced by my Doctor to take tablet Tonact 10 daily one at night. But when I took just 4 or 5 tablets, my tounge started feeling the burning sensation. I'm suffering from Gout for which my doctor prescribed 100 mg zyloric. However, another doctor suggested I use rantac along with zyloric to reduce side effects... Can I continue on that treatment? If so, for how long?
