I can not take any pills that contain lactose. ## Does Ranitidine 300 MG ip 250 contain any lactose? ## Are you referring to the yellow tablets with the IP 254 marking? If so, the inactive ingredients are listed as being collodial silicon dioxide, croscarmellose sodium, hypromellose, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, polydextrose, titanium dioxide, triethyl citrate and D&C Yellow #10. I was prescribed Ranitidine 150 mg manufactured by Amneal. Is it gluten free? I've been having stomach pain since I started it. ## I have to break Amneal 300 mg tabs in half and my throat gets sore. I have been told by the pharmacist and the doctor this is fine to do. May I say how dare BCBS limit me to 90 days only per year of Protonix because it costs more; sure I could appeal it. Are Cimetidine and Ranitidine the same? The doctor told my daughter (who is 8 months pregnant) she could take Ranitidine for acid reflux. All she has is Cimetidine. We were just wondering if it's the same? ## They are different medications, but both are generally considered safe during pregnancy, but it is always best to double check with her doctor to be sure. My ranitidine 300mg tablet was made on November 5th, 2016. When is my ranitidine tablet going to expire? ## If they are in an opened contained, then they expire one year from what they were dispensed to you. However Rantidine will turn rancid in 150 degree summer car heat while other medications of mine seem fine. Is it made by that Co reported on 60 minutes as making substandard generics in India? ## Hi Jack, According to the product labeling, Simply Right Ranitidine is distributed by SAM's West, Inc. out of Bentonville, AR 72716. However the labeling also states that this product is "Made in the USA"; if you check the bottom left-hand side of the package (underneath the Drug Facts). For verification, you can even view an image of the package itself if you google "Simply Right Ranitidine" and follow the second link to amazon. Please let me know if too much of this medication taken for a long period of time can cause worms? ## No, that is not a known side effects. I use ranitidine 150 mg on a daily basis. As of Thursday June 16 2011 my doctor prescribed sulfamethoxazole tmp ds tab. Now two days later I awake to my body shaking and feeling clamy, also nausea and dizzy. ## There are no interactions listed for using both of these medications at the same time.
