I have been taking Ramistar 5 mg twice daily for the last three years. BP is now ok. Should it continue for much longer or I should stop using it now. I have had angio plasty twice in the last 8 yrs.Pl. advise. In addition I have been taking Amtas 5mg., embeta XR, Persulet 10 mg. Ecosprin 150 mg. Tonnact 40 mg daily. ## As per the test, I am having high blood pressure and high sugar . I have been asked to take Remiprill 5 , one per day. I have been diabetic for 8 years. I am taking glycomet gp2 and giucobay 50. My blood pressure was normal. But now at times my bp goes to 140/90 or even 150/90. My doctor prescribed ramistar 2.5mg. Most of the time my bp remains below 130/80. Should I continue ramistar 2.5mg? My age is 64. ## You should take the medication as instructed by your doctor. I've been using Ramistar H 5mg for the past 7 years after CABG bypass surgery. Is it true that prolonged usage of Ramistar could cause diabetes in an otherwise healthy individual? ## It has been known to cause elevated blood sugar levels, but that doesn't actually make some a diabetic, in many cases, it goes back to normal, once someone switches to a different medication, according to the NIH. Other side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, and increased urination. Are you on any other medications?

I have been diagnosed high bp by doctor recommend med.RamistarA2.5 and metolar xr25 now my bp fluctuate 130/85to145/94 I am 45 yrs old i do physical labour everyday and do drink 120 ml whisky at night before meal everyday can i continue metolar xr25 or give up gradually ## You should follow your doctor's dosing instructions for these medications. I had bypass surgery a year ago. I take 1 no. Ramistar 1.25, 2 no. Carvistar 3.125 1no. Ecosprin 150 mg and 1 no. tonact 20mg. Last few weeks i feel joint pain, muscle pain and constipation problem. Please advise is it because of any side effects of the above mdeicine.

My grand father is age 75. Patient history, 3 yrs back suffered minor stroke and was medicine as usual then one back he suffered epileptic seizures and doctor prescribed him eption 100 twice a day. He was taking previously for memory loss remlylin D as a supplement for brain. But as a side effect he developed skin rashes and serious itching after that I consulted dermatologist he advised me to stop eption and change it with the alternative medicine. I consulted neurologist and he changed eption with levesam 500 twice a day.besides these medicines he is also taking ramistar. 2.5, cadivas. 3.125, and aldactone 50. Please comment, is medicine change good? Can it bring relief from itching to the patient? Accept my gratitude in advance.

I am an Old Female Patient Age 81suffering from ILD (Interstices Lung Disease) and R.Arthritis. Having Predmet Since Last 4 Years With Varying Doses (16mg To 6mg) as per Doctors advise. Since last Six Weeks Dose of Predmet reduced to 4mg daily. In addition to General Weakness and Blood Sugar Disorder (which Is due to Predmet according to my Doctor), I am Suffering from Short Time Memory Loss during last 6 to 8 Months.
