my i caps smell funny and sometimes they don't. was wondering if there has been a recall or something ? ## Hello, Diane! How are you? Are you referring to the vitamins manufactured by Alcon? I've not found anything about a recall, but they aren't actually required to report such things to the FDA. Have you tried contacting the manufacture? Which formulation are you taking? You can contact Alcon by calling them toll free at 800-757-9785. The FDA classifies this as a nutritional supplement and it may cause nausea, in some people that take it.

clear mini gel cap black ( could be dark green or very dark red) thick liquid unkarked ## If there are no markings it is going to be difficult to narrow down what this is. We can rule it out as being a U.S. prescription medication, because they are all required to have a unique marking to enable their identification. However, there are quite a few over the counter products that meet this description, including several herbal supplements. I even have a fishoil capsule that looks like this. There is also a small chance it could be a foreign medication. Does anyone else have an idea what this is?

COUGH MEDICINE ## The antihistamine in Tussi Caps can be purchased OTC at Walgreens. 8 or 10 mg of Codeine can be gotten in Robotussin with Codeine, in some stores also over the counter! No reason to be overpricing this medication! Just a way to gouge consumers!

What is RX896 ## Gray and white capsule rx896 what is it? ## Is the marking possibly RX 696? If so, Ranbaxy Pharmaceuticals lists it as containing 100mgs of Minocycline, which is an antibiotic that is used to treat bacterial infections. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash, and diarrhea.

Razo-D contains the active ingredients Rabeprazole and Domperidone. And I am not certain it is going to help with your problem, since gas and stomach pain can actually be side effects of the Rabeprazole. For gas you might want to look into a product that contains Simethicone: And Loperamide is often used for diarrhea:
