oval, white, pain ## just found this pill loose in the house. Need to know what it's for ## Just wanted to know what the pill is and what it's used for. ## I've been taking Zanaflex 4mg as a spinal muscle relaxant. I just started taking the tablets with the R180 imprint and not 100% sure its the same as the circular zanaflex. Its for spinal cord injuries or multiple sclerosis ## Pill Image This pill, R 180, is Tizanidine 4mg, a generic version of the muscle relaxant Zanaflex. ## And to the original poster of this topic, this is not a pain pill, as I said it is a muscle relaxant, so if you have muscle spasms, tension, or muscle injury that is causing pain, it can help, but it is not a direct pain reliever and will not help with other pain problems. It has no analgesic qualiti...

white oval scored 4 ways on one side and p180 on the other ## I believe the imprint you were looking at was actually R 180, it matches this description. It is manufactured by Par Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 4mgs of Tizanidine, which is a muscle relaxant that is used to treat pain associated with strains, sprains, and spasms. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, and headache. Do you think the letter could be an R?

The pill has two shades of blue. On one half of the pill it has the letter "n" and on the other side it has the numbers "180". It's one of those pills that you break in half and pour out some powder or something. Do you have any idea what it is?

What is a white round pill marked and scored on one side only (1800 with a fancy V at the top)? ## Hi Naganama, I located a round white pill with a fancy V below a score line and the numbers 0031 above it. On the back side it is blank. Is there any chance that the marking could've been misinterpreted depending on the pill's condition and which way it was being held? If this did turn out to be a match then it would be identified as a 500mg acetaminophen tablet, made by Qualitest. For verification, the pill itself is reportedly 12.00 mm in size and carries a NDC of 00603-0268. An image of this pill can also be viewed by following the NDC link. And even if it's not a match, I think we can still point out that Qualitest is probably the manufacturer since they make other tablets ...
