It's been a month without suboxone and I tapered down very low so it wasn't too bad but depression is horrible. Will it stop? I have one thought, doom! I'm scared. I have a traumatic brain injury due to a car accident where I fractured my skull, and broke my neck. I was on suboxone for 3 years at the time and 3 years since. Highest dosage was 4 mg. I'm on cymbalta, max dose. Seroquol. Now lotuda. I almost want to go back on sub. And just live on 1 mg. never had depression like this. Just feel like I'm not gonna kick the depression. If I didn't have 3 young sons I would contemplate taking my own life but would never do that to my wife or kids. Just wondering if anyone has been in hell like this? ## Dear John, I'm so sorry 2 hear about yor situation. But, wanti...

Has anyone stopped feeling withdrawal symptoms after quitting Cymbalta? If you're considering starting this medication, don't! It's a narcotic. There are better non-narcotic meds. ## How long have you been withdrawing after 60 hours last dose? ## Cymbalta is not a narcotic. Cymbalta contains the active ingredient Duloxetine, which is an SNRI antidepressant and if you've been taking it for awhile, it is normal to feel some withdrawal effects if you stop abruptly, because of the way it acts on brain chemicals. Learn more Cymbalta details here. Normally, these medications should be stopped via a slow taper to prevent the worst of these effects. Taking proxyvon is fun but coming of out once in it , big question??? If you really want to comeout of it, no matter what stop using, for 1 week you will get fever, maybe stomach aches or feel sick but after a week you will feel alright and fresh to start things, drink hot water, decrease your dose when your are finally on 2 pills in a day stop it from next day for a wekk see it will help u. i did same thing. ## Almost any medication you are on for a long period of time requires a slow taper to help minimize the withdrawal effects. If you are going through withdrawals, be sure to take in lots of liquids, it doesn't necessarily have to be hot water. Thank you, though, for posting this advice to help others. Does anyone else have anything to add? ## how to stop taking proxyvon capsule...

How do I best stop using this crap. Been trying to do less and less. I had shoulder surgery got onto perks and vikes. Long term stuff but weened myself off. This one isnt so easy. Thinking I should have done this tge hard way rather than try other folks advice. Any suggestions? ## Hi Mark, It really depends on how much your taking per day. Subs have the long half life so that makes things so much different then the usual pain pill wd. I can tell you this, when you get down to 3 or 4mgs you should not drop more than a half mg at a time. You need to wait until your body feels comfortable on that dose. I,m talking a week at the least. It,s because of the half life. It takes a long time but well worth it. If you do this the jump will be fairly easy.

I quit cymbalta cold turkey 6 days ago. I developed severe burning itchy weeping peeling skin. Will i hit the wall as they say? And when. I have taken numerous meds over the last 15 year due to to numerous orthopedic surgeries the most recent of which was a c-3 to t-3 with rods, 16 giant screws. plates, vertebral cage and was in the hospital for a month just a year ago. I lead as active a life as possible, exercise and take hilly walks with a walker. My pain doc prescribed the cymbalta for pain, neuropathy and muscle spasms etc as at this point I am allergic to many narcotics. I read about brain zapping and so on, but I don't think I have had that occur. How would it manifest itself? Over the last 14 years I have had spells where I just need to lay low for a day and regroup and move...

I went off methadone after a 4 day wean, over 3 months ago, I am doing GREAT right now looking for someone else who has went off and is still successful after a couple months. ## How did you feel after the 4 day wean? I just moved across the country and gave myself enough methadone to wean down for 4 days. I'm on day 4 now and was on methadone for at least 9 years. Just want to know what I have to look forward to. After taking for 5 years, toviaz just quit working. Is it normal to build up a resistance? Will it start working again if I keep using it? ## Hello, Corky! How are you? Yes, our bodies will eventually become tolerant to anything that we ingest regularly for a long period of time. There is no precise time frame for it, it varies from person to person, but it is completely normal. And no, you'll most likely need to try a different medication. Taking a break from it, for awhile, may enable to work again for you, in the future. The FDA lists the typical side effects of Toviaz as possibly include nausea, dizziness, blurred vision and dry mouth. My son's girl friend is a recovering drug addict. She was doing really well until her lung collapsed, landing her in the hospital for three days. The doctors had her on STRONG pain meds by mouth and by IV. She was scared to death that when she got out she would have withdraws. The doctor put her on suboxone strips. She moved in with me so I could monitor her intake of meds. She told me to give her one SUBOXONE in the morning and one at night. She has been nodding out at the computer, on the phone, eating, talking, standing, and now she is demanding two strips in the morning. I told her if she took both strips in the morning she would have none in the evening, she didn't care. I took her to see a shrink and she came out of the office very mad saying that she never wanted to go ba...

Hi thank you for any insight..I've only been on Effexor xr 37.5 for three days and I'm freaking out! My chest is heavy legs are tingly im out of it but highly anxious and tired all at the same time. I've read tons of discussions about sticking it out but have made the choice to discontinue. I spoke with a pharmacist who said it'd be ok to just stop since I seem to be really sensitive to it. Only haven taken 3 doses, He said I will probably not have any withdrawals but if I do to open a capsule and sprinkle half on something. I'm looking for asstrances. I'm scared on this stuff but am also scared to just stop. He gave me assurances though that at such a low dose for such a short period, I should be ok. It's Saturday and Dr isn't in until Tuesday, no way am...

I'm 50 years old and have been on Sertraline since about 1995 to 1997. I finally came to the conclusion that I am better off without it. (I know. I'm not sure why I stayed on it for so long) I have seen a lot of information on the Internet to finally make me cynical of the medical "profession" and the drug "community" to make me realize that it's a multi-billion dollar business. As this is my tenth day after I took the very last dose, I still do feel a little lightheaded, but much better than last week when I had some headaches, diarrhea, and a felt a little nervous. I have read this forum and really hurt to think some people are addicted to this drug, and many others, but cannot stop. My heart goes out to you. For every 100 people with a question here, it se...

Can some one tell me what to expect when weaning off of 20 mg Lisinopril...am down to 15 mg now no effects but now trying to go to 12.5 and today is first day and seem to be having some effects of being hot and feeling like i want to panic. I have been on it for 14 months for blood pressure . can any one advise how to wean off I just plan on 2.5 mg cuts every 10 days or so unless I get better advice ? ## Why are you stopping it? Has your doctor approved your doing so? If you were taking it for high blood pressure, you shouldn't stop without a physician's approval, because if it's the only thing controlling your blood pressure, it will become elevated, again, even if you taper off of it slowly. Are you monitoring your blood pressure and heart rate?

Can I stop taking lyrica if I only had two capsules at 25mg strength each . I only had this one doze but I really don't want to use it for pain management any more Doing physio at the moment and that is helping me recover from lower back pain ## There shouldn't be a problem, if you've only taken a couple capsules, but it is always best to double check with your doctor. The FDA warns that Lyrica may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, mood changes, and drowsiness. Ref: Lyrica Information Are you on any other medications?
